Will TSW ever have trackside that looks real, it's nothing like the real thing. It just completely spoils the game. Take a look a Just Trains Midland Mainline on TSC to see how it should be done. Looking at the new ECML route for TSW4 it still looks like the edge of a park, grass and trees up to the ballast. What's the point of working PIS systems if the basics look so unreal. Where are all the cables, equipment cabinets and trunking etc. The signals in the game appear not to be connected to anything. It's not all grass and trees. When will diesel loco's have dynamic exhausts, regardless of throttle position, they look like a Deltic on full power. It has been achieved in TSC. When will the Bakerloo Line have a correct signalling system. As it is, you cannot complete any scenario, you do not close the doors on a red signal. The signals are not linked to the train doors. When will the class 66 sounds be made more life like. In a class 66 that has been working hard, the engine revs do not drop to idle, when you return the power controller to idle. The engine revs stay up to a level to power the cooling system. When the loco has cooled down enough the revs will then drop to idle. Armstrong Powerhouse have done this in the class 66 on TSC. I presume that all the bugs of the previous incarnations of TSW will never be fixed. Thank goodness for TSC where there is some semblance of the real railway.
Regarding the 66, tsw does not simulate certain things so certain elements of sound are left out that tsc has. They are different games. So until dtg builds the simulation of engine cooling and load, it is not possible to add it
