On Antelope Valley the AI drive trains in the rain without windshield wipers on. This breaks the realism and needs fixed. I been noticing this on a few routes now, this not important anymore?
It should be part of standard set up what makes sure Ai use, Headlights, taillights, PIS set correctly, passenger lights and wipers for weather.
Exactly! Seems they are getting lazy about these things. I purchased a sim, so that should not be an issue.
In Run 8, the AI correctly gives two blasts of the horn when starting, and the horn sequence when approaching level crossings. Correct headlights (front bright aux, trailing DPU dim headlights). Pretty easy to implement if you only want to. If precip>0 activate wiper 1 endif The issue is more that every TSW DLC is a game and a world of its own, whereas sims like Run8 are done in a modular style. There is a 26L brake module, a headlight module, etc... that's why the locos work consistently, because they don't need to reinvent the wheel for every single loco. And updating scenery or physics affects the whole game, not only a single DLC.
Didn't know that..wow! Then why doesn't DTG not implement that in TSW4? Shouldn't be that hard for them to do. It would fix a lot of issues and bring realism to the forefront. The wiper issue will fall on deaf ears I'm afraid.
Let's hammer the issue, if nobody makes any noise then they won't know about it. If enough people say something then maybe something will get done. I hope.
Nice, but... how. They answer to issues selectively, noticed the two trophy hunters Manfonse and Willowrpe in here meticulously documenting everything for months now, all the time being completely ignored? Hats off, while Achievements, Medals and Trophies don't mean anything to me I appreciate those two not giving up. And support is hardly effective, they will mark each ticket off regardless of being processed... in my company you can give feedback (actually you are supposed to) on how you think your problem was addressed by Corporate Helpdesk, which is positive pressure for the support team to actually do something.
Well, sounds hopeless then knowing how they are about addressing certain things. I will keep trying and see. I wish I worked at DTG, these issues would never happen in the first place since I am a stickler for details and realism.
