PC How Do I Disable Driver Assist?

I do not want constant annoying popup telling me to move reverser to mid-gear. Is there any way to turn that off?

Set player assist to normal would do I think

 

I have it on expert and it still cries about the reverser

 

Unfortunately there is no way to disable Driver Assist. It is a setting that I really want as well since I like to drive without any help (I usually drive without the CTRL + 5 HUD and without "next speed limit/signal aspect").

I found a way to get rid of specifically the "Move reverser to Mid-Gear" notification. just set the reverser to lower than 50%. I was initially using 55% for building some speed, setting the reverser to 49% removed the notification with minimal impact on the acceleration.

 

that's genius thank you. i didn't want to move it that extremely low in case it would make it accelerate much weaker but to just tiny bit lower than 50% seems pretty good to me
