I think the M has not been put into the game well, because it doesn't seem to work. Trying to drive it in france, does result in, well, no movement. the power changing system does not actually work unlike on the Vectron, which is awesome there, but disappointing here. maybe we get a new ICE 3M with a new german route in the future, which will be better, who knows? you can chose another power system, but it doesn't work farther than that. the other pantographs are unused etc. what's your opinion on this?
Yeah sadly only the DB-OBB 15Kv works and even the BR193 doesn’t work while selecting 1.5KV DC at Marseille, or 25Kv on the LGV. It’s sad that it wasn’t really implemented but just pure cosmetic (for the ICE3) EDIT: it works for the BR193 I had to restart the game
I just edited my post. For some reason when I restart the game it works fine but still for the ICE 3 it doesn’t, I don’t think it was implemented.
yeah I think the ICE 3M originally was just meant to travel around germany/german routes (planned for in-game, of course IRL it was planned to travel internationally (don't think I'm dumb)), it would've been nice if it had the features like the Vectron, usage of the other pantos and all that.
It's 3M in all but functionality, it also isn't equiped with train protection systems from other countries
I know you already edited your post but not sure why you kept the comment about it being "pure cosmetic". It literally has different performance curves and all kinds of logic implemented in DC vs AC and different voltages
