LGV would not upgrade to the TSW4 version. I remember the battle I had in TSW3, so I knew this was coming. Seems DTG were aware, as per JD`s post, so I raised a ticket. Title of ticket: TSW4, LGV, PS5. Subject: I "Purchased" the LGV add-on on the 27th of May, via the PS app. PS store order number xxxxxxxxxxxxxx. Works fine in TSW3 on the PS5 However, the store does not recognise this "purchase", thus will not allow me to download for TSW4 without payment. I have attached a copy of my email Receipt. UK Player. Regards. I thought that pretty much summed it up. After sending the above, and a copy of my email receipt, I received a reply asking for my purchase receipt. Strange, as I attached it to the first ticket. Seems I had cut the bottom off in error, and had not realised. So I resubmit, and Receive this response: Thank you for contacting us about using your Legacy Add-ons with Train Sim World 3, Please accept the following keys your disc/s entitles you to: Your Activation code for LGV is@: xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx And as expected, the code is for the TSW2 version, NOT the TSW4 compatible version, so I still don`t have LGV. I have replied to the ticket of course, but this kind of stuff really pushes my buttons. Read the request, forget the script & use your brain. Rant over. Enjoying TSW4 on PC & PS5.
If you own the TSW2 version then you should automatically be granted licences to purchase the TSW3 and TSW4 versions for 'free', if they just gave you the TSW4 version you wouldn't be able to play it in TSW2 (if you happen to own it).
I think he means activate the key you received for TSW2 LGV and it should also become unlocked for TSW3 and TSW4 just like any content you own from TSW2
I already have LGV for TSW2 and TSW3 on the PS5. As stated in my text above. For some people, me included, its not working in TSW4. Instead of a download button, it wants me to buy it. JD mentioned its a known issue, and to raise a ticket, which I did. I believe the code should have unlocked the TSW4 compatible version, but it was not. FYI, it was not my intention to come across as rude. 5 weeks ago today I gave up smoking after 30 years plus. I decided to have a little drink tonight to celebrate.
I'm surprised the new code didn't trigger a replacement licence, I assumed it would work the same way purchasing a previously free PS Plus title grants a new licence. Gratz on giving up smoking.
im having the same issue just to ask when you go to the train sim world 3 dlc does it say you own it in the in game store but when you click to download tru that it then asks to pay as my PlayStation store for train sim 3 asks to pay but in game I own
Sorry to hear you've had that experience. What I would say is that the agent is probably providing you a key from a list they've been provided, so we'll try to get a new list of keys for TSW4 usage. This one is a specific use-case, annoyingly not tied into the entitlements system the other versions of LGV would be, so needs to be a more manual process. We will sort though.
