Epic Games Compatible Content Missing

These are the routes that I have that are missing in TSW4:

• TSW2 routes (free epic version): Koln, Bakerloo, Sands Patch
• Rush Hour bundle: Boston, London Commuter, Dresden
• TSW3 routes: Kasel, SEHS, Cajon

Yup, same here on Epic. Missing the three TSW2 core routes (same thing happened last year with TSW3) and missing the four core TSW3 Deluxe routes, so Kassel-Wurzburg, Cajon, SEHS and Spirit of Steam for me.

Yes for me it is the same. I am missing all „pack content“: TSW2 core routes, TSW3 core routes, TSW2 new journeys pack (SD40, BR 425, 1972 stock), TSW3 loco pack 1 (Dispolok 182, RHTT, Santa Fe F7), TSW3 loco pack 2 content (BR 403, ROG Class 37/7, BNSF SD70ACe) and the TSW2 Rush Hour content except for DRA which I have from the TSW4 Deluxe edition.
Also for some reason it is not possible for me to install the Class 700 although it is in my owned dlc list.

I am also missing quite a lot. E.g. Rapid Transit is missing BR 182, while BR 101 is missing at all together with Class 31 or Conrail Addons and route. Rhein-Ruhr routes (both) are missing too.

I use Steam platform.

 

I'm another person missing all the DLC I have purchased as part of a bundle (16 DLCs in all), so I look forward to the entitlements getting sorted.

I'm also having trouble with Great Western Express, DB BR 182, and 1938 Tube Stock. Unlike the 16 above, these three are all installed, but they don't appear in game. I have tried re-downloading, as well as verifying the game files, but no luck. I'm playing on PC Epic.

 

I sent this morning a ticket to Epic store because the delay to get the DLC content is abnormal.
DTG shows a lack of professionalism, even if they sell through a platform like Epic

 

For me I am missing the Class 31 and Class 20 on Tees Valley, This was via Steam.

 

Same here, the same two locomotives are missing from DLC. All others downloaded OK from Steam.

 

Same problem, TSW2 + 3 routes are still missing on Epic and also the Loco add on bundle

I bought this as the founders edition when TSW came to xbox.

 

RHTT is missing, Class 700/0 is available under 'Manage Add-Ons' but when I tick it and hit 'Apply Changes', the download doesn't start. Rest of the DLC downloaded ok.

 

I'm only missing the Trenton route from v3 to v4. I use Steam,the DLC still appears in v3.
Is there a way to manually insert this? Funny though the Acela that came with it transfered over.

 

The Acela is a separate DLC but maybe you bought a bundle and that is the reason Trenton is missing. Anyway this thread is about the Epic Store version of the game and we are mixing things here

You can't insert it. It will only cause crashing

in the game store it says I own the products but won’t let me install them. GWE it even tried to get me to pay for again!

 

It seems (Xbox S at least) if you go to the train not the route then you can select your legacy routes to play on. Very convoluted and hopefully a fix is imminent.

Why Epic can't fix this problem? and why DTG lets it happen?

 

For me, all the content is now available. Only the New Journeys S-Bahn Köln BR423 is still missing...

 

For me no tsw3 core routes, no tsw2 core routes available at the moment (epic tsw4)

 

Hello, I had submitted a support ticket yesterday because I was missing some of my purchased content in game:

• DB BR 204 Loco Add-On
• DB BR 101 Loco Add-On
• DB G6 Diesel Shunter Add-On

(What is unsatifying, the response was asking me for apologies and that my ticket will be closed. A hint to this thread would have been nice so that I don't have stumble over it myself...).

Firstly, the content is still missing as of now. It is listed in steam and in TSW as purchased. It just isn't slectable in game and does not appear as AI.

Secondly, I believe I have found a possible hint to the cause:
What they have in common is that I purchased the loco add-ons individually, not as part of a package or route. With TSW4, there seem to be dependencies which didn't exist with TSW3. When I go to the TSW store and look at the details of the add-ons, it tells me that specific routes must be installed which I don't have:

still no feedback on missing tsw 2 and tsw 3 core routes, no tsw2 core routes.....

it is really annoying to have to ask constantly and that the problem is not finally eliminated. The game is expensive enough that you should expect that you are not constantly confronted with any restrictions or bugs.

So when will the problem with the missing DLC finally be solved?

Come on guys calm down, its just a game. This is not in DTG's roof now and Epic is firing a lot of people.

 

Yikes, just found out about the layoffs. Poor timing from our perspective, coming just as the game we all care about launches, but I guess we just gotta cop the bad luck and have some more patience. As you rightly say- it is just a game.

 

an idea to solve this issue since Epic is unable to assume the contract with its TSW customers:
It would be nice if DTG could make possible to migrate from Epic to Steam our TSW4 and all our addons that we have purchased.
This way the problem would be definitively solved.

To the statement „only a game“ - may be, first and foremost it is a product for which epic got money, so you can also expect that it works!
It's a shame for the people who have to go there but it's a management decision and therefore their responsibility!

 

Thanks for what you're doing to get it resolved, there're enough things to do in the meantime still, I'm really enjoying the new routes and locos.

I've noticed that the Class 700 has been re-added to my DLC list (I owned it for TSW3) and it's now showing up in my 'manage addons' list on Epic, but it won't install and has no file size attached to it. I presume that this is also a known issue?

 

I opened a ticket because DTG-Chris forgot TSW3 Standard Edition in his list in the topic "annoucementTSW4 launch-missing compatible content / Update: 30th September".
This issue is completly a non sense; we bought the game and now we have to prove our good faith, while Epic (or DTG) have failed in their obligations to respect the customer

 

I just read it and was going to do the same because it is my case too, TSW3 standard edition. I suppose is not needed now or you still want me to open a ticket?

 

On PlayStation I figured out something that might work to get your routes.

Go into the library and select TSW3. Then on your downloaded routes select download again. It’ll try and re download a tsw3 route.

Then go into the App Library and select tsw4, go into the tsw4 compatible routes and it should allow you to download the tsw4 compatible routes.

After the tsw4 route is downloading you can cancel the tsw3 download.

 

Personally I think that the more tickets we open, the more we will be heard by DTG.
We paid for a product that do not correspond to the advertisement, it's abnormal on the part of DTG and Epic

 

so if I understand correctly we will have to wait, ...wait (it's bad news)

 

While we are here waiting I just remembered that last year TSW2 free Epic version had different entitlements than the paid TSW2 standard version. Just to be sure that both are claimed DTG JD

I think that DTG should anticipate the future of their relationship with Epic because what will happen for future updates and future versions of TSW?. Doubt sets in.
I fear that Epic's attitude will harm future sales
