I suggest adding to the scenario creator the ability to insert a fully disabled train so that it needs to be started before driving.
Exactly, I am quite a demanding TSW user because I am quite advanced in the subject of railways. If something is unclear, I apologize because English is not my native language.
Yes, every train should be like this in every scenario and timetable. And for those that are still learning or are first time, a training manual would err should be made available.
Not all trains start cold and dark. Early morning services could be an exception but even then, electric trains would still keep their pantographs up, they even do this in depots. In reality this would take up unnecessary time, especially for passenger trains with quick turn arounds like the Cross city/ Glossop line 323s, London underground trains etc.
Yes, that makes sense and I thank you for the info, I did not think of that when it came to passenger services, I should have made the statement clearer, the cold start as you stated early morning passenger services, as well as the freight scenarios, excluding the diesel locomotives, unless it's out of the shop from being serviced, but that is not an option that I have seen yet, I have found this to be the case a few times and that was with the US diesel and a few that were eu diesel locomotives.
