I don’t know if anyone notices it seams to rain quite often in the desert like the Mojave Desert and the greater Los Angeles area even with dynamic weather on clear a rainstorm just appears but those places I just are usually dry not rainy as deserts get very little rain a year. Does Dovetail not know about Southern California weather?

It never rains in California...but girl, don't they warn ya...it pours, man, it pours...

Don't use DynamicWeather. It's ok for high speed routes like Kassel Würzburg, where such fast transitions can happen IRL, but surely not in the Mojave desert region...

And if you want changes, use God Mode :)

Yeah it only rains there on a few days during the year, and usually not in measurable amounts. It greens up the hills and that's about it.

It literally rained in California, and SoCal yesterday.

I don't use dynamic weather. Check what the real world weather is for that particular day and set the weather like that manually. As a California native and someone who's been over the route more times than I can count, the weather NEVER changes the way it does with dynamic weather. If it's rainy in Lancaster, it usually is in LA, and vis versa if it's sunny, cloudy, etc. Only difference would probably be the fog, which is more common up in the desert of Palmdale and Lancaster, and even into Santa Clarita, but once you get closer to LA, it's typically gone.

Bottom line, don't use dynamic weather on Antelope Valley.
