Worth musing here as well as on the Roadmap Q&A, wonder what sound set they have managed to acquire for the 642. Hope for once we get authentic audio not something fudged together from other sources.
Said on stream that sound was sourced from actual train and they showed a picture of recording in the cab
Had posted this in the roadmap thread, but thought would be relevant here too: Was very much looking forward to the announcement of the new German route, however I think that it being Maintalbahn Aschaffenburg-Miltenberg is a little underwhelming for me personally as I'm not a fan of single track routes. Also, frustrating that for TSW 4's first German route - and the first modern German route since Kassel-Wurzburg - it's small and single track route, especially so soon after Niddertalbahn. However, the choice of loco does keep me interested thanks to the 642, as well as the modern iteration of the 628. With Aschaffenburg included, anyone else really wish that MSB gets a TOD 4/timetable revamp - I certainly would! Even better if the route could finally extend to Wurzburg.
Let me see what you are trying to do was make a network comprised of Maintalbahn Main Spessart Bahn Kassel Wilhelmshöhe Würzburg Hbf (Schnellfahrstrecke Hannover Würzburg) by having all of them set to Würzburg Hbf as the common origin point Here is the developer quote on TSW4 merging
