Ticket Inspector Mode will change everything on Timetable Mode. This is what I'm hoping to see in the Winter Core Update for TSW4. Bit like the Glossop Line
This would be nice but I don't think they could cook up this feature in about 3 months. I would expect this mid to late next year if they were working on it.

It doesn't have to. You can just drive as a passenger in the train, while the service still runs fine. So creating a mode in which we can investigate the passengers while driving, wouldn't mess up with the timetable necessarily.
