Ok, I will throw em a bone for that, but the inexcusable European siren sounds? The horror of ES44ACs sounds, not to mention going right threw a bridge support! The bland and ugly looking scenery. Just overall sloppy rushed garbage.
Don't forget the headlights illuminating the cab nose as if there were no deflectors... Still not sure why NS wanted the headlights mounted on top of the cab. Insights?
Doubtful, as the small but dedicated team doesn't want to give creators free reign. Even adding repaints is only possible by substitution of an existing item. It would make multiplayer impossible is the official reason. But is it really, when there is already a substitution mechanism in place when a player doesn't own all the rolling stock but still wants to participated in a MP session? Substituting just another repaint won't matter in the MP experience I'd think.
Just checked, CCB is still full of alien green artefacts in winter outfit,... AC4400CW backsided boogie... Hey Skyhook games it is below critic...

Pretty annoying especially when driving at night. There are deflectors mounted beneath the lights but they don't block the light in the game... I'll see if I can adjust the lightcone a little... edit: fixed in the latest version of my cab mod
It's these little but important things that they "DTG" "Skyhook"miss that should never happened. A little footwork and research would have helped. I'm not a game developer by any means, but darn, I could have have never let these silly mistakes through. .. just common sense stuff if you are trying to mimic trains and routes for realism. Sloppy, rushed and corner cutting development seems to be the norm for this game/sim.
Skyhook games we are waiting for some moves, there are still AC4400CW to fix rear boogie), CCB full of green artefacts and improper dirty train cars, ES44AC poor sound (take one from es44c4 ... etc.
It passes quite easily when you understand that as someone else said it's a case of grab the money and run! DTGMatt is supposed to be passionate about doing things right but let Peak Forest release with a scenario in which you're supposed to be driving the Royal Train with HRH the Queen on board! Red lights abound all over this route along with rolling stock in sidings next to the running track, things that we all know DON'T happen for the Royal Train.
Yes the historic routes are particularly poor for operarional accuracy. They can't even fix the taillamps. Don't even get me started on consists without brake coaches. It's HM for the monarch. HM the Queen
