Annoying Widespread Bug Opening Doors On The Wrong Side After Switching Cabs In Sd2 Scenarios

As the title says, it's really annoying, I haven't checked on other routes but I assume it's the same there except maybe on the TSW 4 routes, I can't believe I even have to ask this, has nobody tested the damn Scenario Designer "2" ever? Seriously, it ruins the path chaining feature completely (at least for me), and makes it nearly useless if you care about immersion and realism, if you care about passenger services.

If you want to try to reproduce it, create a custom scenario on any route, create a service, make a path that ends somewhere that allows a second path and requires a cab change (like Bingen - Mainz Hbf), make a second path however you like (just be sure that the service requires a cab change), and play it.

I am not sure about any other route that isn't German (including non-German TSW 4 routes) (because I don't play, and haven't played non-German routes at all) and other locos/trains (I am using the 612 in the screenshots), because I think this may or may not be a very specific issue for specific trains, routes and/or path, because I also had and still have (!) these issues on certain stations in certain routes (Aschaffenburg Hbf has this issue) since TSW 2!

 

I believe that the issue you refer to is on all non TSW4 routes.

When I raised the matter the answer I got was that although TSW3 routes were being marketed as being "TSW4 Compliant" all that meant was that you can run them in TSW4. Apparently it did NOT mean that you could utilise all the new TSW4 features in them.

The only way you can get around this is to create scenarios in the new Full Editor were it is possible to program in a directional change where the driver moves, the lights change and, presumably, the doors open on the right side. Funnily enough I'm planning to test this tonight on ECW.

Just tested it on the "upgraded" Nahverkehr Dresden route. It has the same issue. LOL
