Hi, Would DTG be able to advise how they would do the Version updates? Reason I ask is due to the comment below being made by a DTG Dev possibly which concerns me that for fixes to the editor we would be waiting for version updates rather then patches. Could we have some sort of confirmation on how things will work. For example, if the game has errors etc there sorted and rolled out in a patch. New features to TSW are held back until a time where it's best to release them. Will it work same for the editor so, fixes will be sent out in patches where possible so bug etc can be fixed. Improvements however would be held back for version updates. Reason I ask this is I feel holding back fixes to stuff that should be working for version updates to me is unfair on us content creators as some bugs are causing issues in us doing basic stuff. Reloading issue stopping stuff working right for example. I hope something can be confirmed by someone at DTG just so we creators have some idea what to expect and feel assured we won't be left with bugs that have been fixed for months and months just to come out in a version update.
Agree. I have temporarily shelved the editor anyway but unless you can actually “cook” something for release there is little point in trying to create it.
I'm not too fussed with cooking as I'm learning parts that I've never touched before. It's more so the fixes to the big bugs not being held back even though it's prob been fixed just to come out in a version update.
After all Xbox stuff has been resolved, they want to fix the editor showstoppers. (I assume an update via epic launcher, just like steam works)
Thats what I'm hoping for as I've found today that because of the reloading bug, you may create something small to learn but because the editor doesn't see the Actor for example even though it's in the files stuff breaks etc but not because it's been setup wrong so yeah reloading bug is definitely a show stopper for editor side.
