Great suggestion, the Marshlink route would be a good idea for a route when DTG return to developing routes in the south-east again I would love to finally drive a Turbostar in TSW (hopefully AP assist in this by giving DTG their soundest from the 168/170/171 EP for TSC)
Even better if it continued onto Eastbourne (42 miles total) for a full length journey. This would also include the scenic section close to the beaches passing near Bexhill with views of the English Channel.
I think sending it to Eastbourne would be a great idea as you could layer the LBN 377 in (not the dreaded ECW 377) and the 387 for East Coastway services to/from Brighton as well
Yes exactly, as well as being additional playable services between Eastbourne and Hastings along with the London Victoria services that were missed on ECW. The section between Eastbourne and Hampden Park is already modelled in-game too, so even more favourable to extend here.
I have suggested this route in the past but expanding it to include the lines to Dover Priory and Sandwich From London Charing Cross and St Pancras (taking over from AI at Ashford), to Canterbury West, Margate, and Ramsgate. - Eastbourne to Ashford International: Southern Rail Class 171. Calling at Bexhill, St Leonards Warrior Square, Hastings, Ore, Winchelsea, Rye, Appledore, Ham Street, and Ashford International. Time: 1 hour 14 minutes. - Ashford International to Ramsgate: Southeastern Rail Class 375 & 395. Calling at Folkestone West, Folkestone Central, Dover Priory, Martin Mill, Walmer, Deal, Sandwich, and Ramsgate.
