It's a 2 second change for you to do when making a route, there are bigger things to do Delete the existing sky and tod objects add the tod4 object Done. Matt.
Time Of Day version 4. It was introduced in TSW3 and is what gave the new lighting and clouds etc. Prior to that, routes used the TOD3 system which had the flat clouds etc. Matt.
For Editor V.2, We need a Playsound Module for the Timetable, there are connectable with the Go Via Module. or Playsound on Location
I would just like some of the processes we take for granted in TSC to be applied to a front end on this. Auto placement of junction switches or levers. Conforming terrain to track. All this seems to be buried away in the current version. And greater stability, I have started getting more crashes since starting to lay track and unsuccessfully trying to manipulate terrain.
Well to be honest the way I have found to avoid most crashes is just to spammy spammy the save all button, example: I want to edit terrain, before beginning, Save All. Next I want to edit anything else, SAVE ALL!
In the majority of any software it's common practice to constantly save at regular intervals. Also I usually open up my task manager and end task anything that doesn't need to be running In the background
I'm just gonna throw these two in here. 1.) Ability to automatically hide the Google Maps overlay when in Game View (pressing G key). This feature is already designed to hide all editor symbology so being able to jump this easily between the overlay and real scenery seems pretty convenient. Route Guides could also hide in the same way. 2.) Ability to select multiple track nodes in a row and straighten them vertically to form a continous gradient from first to last.
Here are Two module we need for the Timetable to Play annoucements on an Easy way for the next Editor updates. This is the Modul the Play Annoucements on the Train This is the Modul to play Annoucements on the station or other place on a specific Time.
I, and at least one member that I know of, have moved the editor's tabs and views around by accident, and not been able to get them back in place for one reason or another. For the next version, could you include a default layout.ini file that we can load in when all else fails?
You can make that right from BP, no extra module needed. You can based that on TT data same way like the PIS boards. They give editor away, your limit is only your knowladge, so learn and make that happened.
Would it be possible to provide a way to offset the google overlay in the editor in any given direction up to a meter or two, with the option to change the amount later? I'm not sure why, but the cutting I'm trying to lay tracks in is about a meter to one side of where it should be, and it's driving me up the wall (pun intended.)
That's probably because the landscape only has a 2 meter grid so it simply can't be that precise. You could try sculpting the ditch with the "Snap Landscape to Loft" tool, which won't be prefectly accurate but it will work.
