Hello, I have a question for the train simulator. There are the German steam locomotives BR24, BR89 and the BR 01. Do you have the option of creating these locomotives for the tsw4 so that you can also drive these German steam locomotives in the tsw4
Unfortunately, it's not that easy to transfer TSC rolling stock into TSW. There are several obstacles to overcome: TSW is based on a different graphics engine than TSC. All textures and materials have to be adjusted in UE4. The entire physics simulation for each locomotive must be reprogrammed. Furthermore new sounds for each locomotive are recorded again if possible. The only advantage is that the 3D models already exist, but they would certainly have to be edited or partly rebuild as the UE4 works with a skeletal hierarchy when it comes to animations. In other words, it could take a few more years before these steam locos would appear in TSW. Usually locomotives are published together with suitable routes or wagon material, which in turn requires several years of work (research, implementation and beta testing) too. But it's always worth making good suggestions. The more poeple want a (steam) loco, the more realistic is a future implementation.
