It's all in the title, how many hours do you play tsw?

Personally 8 to 10 hours per week, even with the current problems I still play quite a bit of time each week.
I don't hate the game, on the contrary, I really like tsw 4 but...
I hate jerks and certain things not being "finished"...

And how long do you play?

well it varies depending on when I want to play more Minecraft and when I want to play more this or that, I also don't go to work yet and all that stuff so I gotta make the most of it

don't worry I still sniff air and touch grass, I even sometimes go outside to watch trains :D

I'm not worried, but of course if you're not working then I understand that you have so much time to play.
In my case, I have a job and a family and I also have to go get some fresh air and touch some weed so as not to end up crazy!!!

Around like 30min-1hr/day. I'm a student and have lots of things going on so I can't play as much. I also get bored easily after a couple services.

My play time is unfortunately limited by work so sometimes I have 3 days to play, sometimes 5 days I cannot. The exact hours are up for debate.

    Zero.

Just upgraded to TSW3 so no need for 4 at the moment. It varies between 1 to 3 hours a week. So many other things to do. It will probably increase in the winter days.

It varies as I only get around 2 hours a day total on the gaming PC.
Tonight probably not at all as I want to push Stray forward a little and I bought a TSC Japanese route in the Union Workshop sale, that I want to try out later. Other evenings I will play SimRail a bit early evening then TSW later on as the wife complained about Team Speak on the former distracting her from watching TV in bed!

1-2 hours every couple of days. I'd play more but life, family, responsibilities you know.
I'm refurbishing the Sun Room at the moment, so haven't played much this week. There's always something. I was all set to play for a couple hours yesterday, then the wife had me putting up Halloween decorations in the front yard. Only got in about a half hour or so on Cajon.
Funnily enough I think I played more when I was working ( am now retired ). ;)

It is very dependant on my shifts at work, jobs the wife has lined up and when my mate needs help with redoing his barn. For example last week were about 2 hrs a day but I haven't played a single minute of the game since Friday and probably won't play another minute until Thursday due to the first two reasons above!

I only really get time to play once family life is out of the way, like at the middle of the night! Often find myself falling asleep whilst playing, not due to the game but due to burning the candle at both ends!
I look forward to rainy days off when the kids are at school so I can get a good few hours in!
Probably manage about 4-5 hours a week at the moment. Hopefully it'll increase in winter as I finish work earlier in winter.

Since work is slow right now and work related training doesn’t start until January, I’m probably playing way more than I should per week. Lol.

98.5 hours total as of typing this since release date on Sept. 26th.

My current play is quite inconsistent, I don’t use TSW everyday, some weeks I use it more than others (I take week breaks) I most often run between 1-2 services (usually the 30mins - 1hr ones) on a normal day.

Content release days I’ll probably more run 2-4 services in that day and the odd days after.

I’m around 10 hours a week. I play about 4 days a week. All depends when I’m working or not.
I enjoy other games too, but it really depends on how I’m feeling. TSW is my go to game to relax.
Spider Man 2 releases this Friday so I doubt I’ll be playing much TSW4 next week :)

It does tend to peak when a new release arrives. When the JT Blackpool route drops I’ll probably be playing TSW non stop for several days then it will tail off again. According to Steam I’ve only logged 26 hours total in TSW4 so far which kind of surprises me as I thought it was more than that. Certainly the last few evenings I’ve been dividing my time between Stray, SimRail and TSC with the latter once again showing up TSW in terms of the sheer scope and variety of content available. I can go from a run on a sleepy GWR branch line to ragging a Chinese High Speed train through an astonishing landscape, jump in to a suburban run in Berlin or head out on the Metropolitan line from Baker Street to Amersham. Loads of steam locos and period coaching stock (including catering cars!) to choose from too.

I’d say I normally put in around 3 hours a day and some days I do quite a bit more than that. It’s usually split between two sessions each day but not always, and there are occasional days when I don’t have time to play. My PS5 is telling me I have played TSW4 for 109 hours which works out at 3.9 hours a day average since release, and an average weekly total of about 27 hours. That is slightly more than I thought I did as in the early access period I also played TSW3 quite a bit which will bump me over the 4 hours a day average. I think I might be hooked!

Very little TBH. Starting to get bored of playing the same routes over and over again because Dovetail seem to think that it's fun doing everything over and over and over again

The one that surprised me how quickly I lost interest was Vorarlberg. Apart from the freight runs with the Vectron it's another blooming bus service calling pretty much everywhere. Some of the scenery is nice but it tends to be alongside or away from the mountains rather than through them.

Isn’t that what a Train Simulator is supposed to be though. Drive from A-B.
Routes can get boring I guess. I’ve played SEHS to death, probably racking in around 200-250 services amongst all the locos you can use.
One route I always find myself going back on though is east coastway. It’s one of those routes that resonates with my childhood. Taking a train to sheerness to the seaside with my family.

The only thing that will make me have less time on weekend, is F1 race weekend, and CFL games
Otherwise I have nothing else to do than playing games on the computer

    Depends on my hyperfixation.

Sometimes 1hr a day, some times not for weeks.

    At the moment, it's EuroTruck

I'm amazed at how much time in a day people can devote to the game. I mean what goes by the wayside?

If I can fit in an hour here and there, I feel blessed.

Actually, I'm not sure I'd want to play for 4 hours a day, even if I could. There's something vaguely unhealthy about that.

But, each to his zone, I guess. ;)

For me nothing is being sacrificed I get everything I need done, then sit down and play. For me because of my mental health being extremely poor, this is an escape for that even if it is just for a couple of hours it helps a little.

I used to easily sink in 4 hours a day back when TSW 2020 was released but, now… wait! Yeah still 4 hours playtime. When I’m not working, that is.

Played about 20 hours early access, then did another 40 - 50 hours post legacy content release. I need more UK content unfortunately (bring on JT DLC).

ETS 2 will fill the void with their pretty great so far DLC.

And runs on pretty much anything. Of course the FPS will tank if you enable high car density mods, though.

In my opinion, ETS2 ran and looked better on my Rx480 than TSW does on my 2080ti

I was enjoying tsw 4 at release. But now Ive played an hour or two a week at most. Simply do to the fact that I want to enjoy free roam fully. But with half of my roster of locomotives not working, I dont have the urge to play. Its nice that liveries work now but wanna use my content I PAID FOR.

I absolutely love freight in the world of Train Simulator. I'm a big fan of heavy cargo routes in the US and Canada. In fact, I love shipping to other countries as well. I hope DTG can bring long mileage routes every year, like 200+ miles. Since the editor released it, I have turned my hope to players all over the world, hoping that they can bring a long route.
