Am trying to create a timetable based on Peterborough - Doncaster, and can’t seem to get the trains to display on platform PIS.

Also, how do you set the destinations to display ‘off route’ terminals.

When adding the 700s at Peterborough, they arrive displaying ‘Peterborough’, but then change upon departure to ‘Check Station Screens’

You can add virtual destinations in the timetable in the enter portal instruction :) Not only destination but also intermediate stops

However, you can only use the destinations defined in the route Station Directory. You can find this in the route content. If you're not sure where it's located, open the route definition.

    Thank you.
Have managed to get Destinations working.
Is there any specific order you need to input them to show the intermediate stops.
How do you get the services to show up on the Platform displays, as currently they are still blank.

You use the order in which the train will reach the stops - first off world stop first, destination last.

There's nothing else you need to do. For some reason, the platform PIS screens don't work on the tiles where you start playing in the Editor. As a workaround, either spawn at a different station and take a train to the one you want, or go so far away using 8 cam that the tiles unload, then switch back to 1 cam.

Have done this and the services that start at Doncaster or Peterborough show on the displays.

However - the through services (LNER & Liverpool-Norwich) don't seem to appear on the displays.

I'm also running into this issue with the boards remaining blank.

You mean at the intermediate stations? Not sure about this tbh - have you simulated your timetable?

Actually, my co-dev also can't even get trains to display destinations on routes they aren't suppose to be on. I know in TSC the destination signs were pre-made but in TSW it can be anything, however, despite the station directory being correct, as soon as the timetable starts the signs go blank no matter how many times we try.

Depends. Not sure about British stuff, but some of the older German trains have premade destination signs that only work on the routes the trains came with.

We are using the M7 from both LIRR and the Harlem Line which does not have anything pre-defined.

If I spawn an 801 at Doncaster, it will display on the screens on platform.
If I spawn it from a Portal it doesn’t.
On both, the train displays show correctly.

I'm confused. The PIS system pulls data from the Timetable and the Station Directory. But how does it know what stops are being made if the Timetable station names don't match the ones in the station directory?

Sorry to dig out this old question, but I made a whole Station directory for my own route and in the timetable, there are just no stations...
Any idea what I have done wrong or is there something I missed?

Did you add the Station Directory to the Route Definition?

I added it and it worked! Thank you so much, I didn't use RouteDef. for ages, so I have forgotten it - sorry for wasting your time:o
