Personally in my opinion having this route with Class 313's would be 100% better and then a 378 option for dlc. As for layers I'd expect GX and SN 387/377's respectably in Clapham
I think there would also be AI 1972 while going into Wilsden junction ( high level) with the bakerloo line being underneath
This would be a nice route to drive on, hopefully we will get freight layers if this comes since at South Acton there are freight trains heading towards and from the WCML
This is really good, because not only you get a lengthy Suburban line but you also connect the GWML and BML together (maybe the SEHS too) and even future mainlines, making it a really good freight corridor in London, so I do support this post a lot.
Isn't this the train simulator classic North London Lines and the gospel Oak Barking routes remade in TSW 4. Excellent Idea overall and I see your suggestions being TSC routes themselves just like the Vorarlberg Bahn which was originally known in train simulator classic as three Country Corner route
indeed it is speaking of London overground im currently working on a suggestion the East and South London line
Well, why not have all L.O lines? Imagine not only the passenger routes that could be extended from it but the freight corridors it could create
Do the 710s run on this line? They would make a good addition to this, plus they could be modified and turned into 345s for the Lizzie line in future.
Not yet, from what I remember the 710’s run on the Watford DC Lines and the line that runs to Chingford.
They do the Watford DC line and Gospel Oak to Barking I think some services to Chingford, Enfield Town and chestnut from Liverpool Street
378s operate the West, North, South and East London lines (the circle) whilst the 710s operate all LO services on the GOBLIN line and out of Liverpool Street
For example, you can finally have freight trains running from Newhaven or Crawley Sidings to Acton T.C or Brentford Sidings in Southall
Good route, especially acting as a freight corridor. I mean you can connect the BML, GWML and I suppose HS1 together and other future mainlines to you can theoretically get a Crawley New Yard to Acton Yard for example
Great suggestion, it would be nice to have the North London Line in Train Sim World 4 because it has a power change at Acton Central from the 750V DC third-rail to the 25kV AC overhead wires (or vice-versa if heading to Richmond) and having the Class 313 in there (as DLC) would mean this route is set in the late 2000s when the 378s started taking over the 313s
Would like to see the North/West London Lines, but I fear the route would be missing a lot of AI potential with trains/layers we do not have yet where it intersects with other lines, making it feel a lot less busy than it should. There is a freight element to the route however, which would increase the appeal somewhat. I feel it would be most similar to Birmingham Cross-City in terms of gameplay, and the power changeover element would add some additional interest.
The power changes on this route are at Acton Central and theres one between Shepherd's Bush and Wilsden Junction
Yea between those stations the train will switch from AC to DC or vise versa while moving on a netrual section if you watch this video the timestamp is 48:44
This route should have come with the Goblin line in TSW4 but that is highly unlikely. I wish that they work on the NLL as a major project to counter there small project of the Goblin Line. Do not get me wrong I love the Goblin line but it was the worst possible LO line
