I was wandering around Stockheim and I noticed some apples on the ground around the trees. Such a little nice touch of detail
Niddertalbahn is by far the most detailed route on TSW. Hoping the level of detail remains in TSGs future releases
It is an official art installation by MTA Metro North I believe from the early 90s, awesome detail by DTG! More info here: https://new.mta.info/agency/arts-design/collection/workers-hartsdale There is a similar installation at Scarsdale along the edge of the platform canopies but its not in the game unfortunately.
I mean i didn't do it, but I know the person did it as a joke, I guess it's one of those I don't want to know! , although i did place all the cats (and one donkey) (well except for one cat at Doncaster station* ) * = Assuming of course there aren't other cats that i don't know about .
I have to say I do enjoy the ambient sounds on ECML - birds, dogs, and whatever that is crashing in the woods! On the shorter depot services it helps the immersion a lot.
Out of interest how many cats (or donkeys!) are places across the ECML route? i love the little things like these for sure!
Linke Rheinstrecke, I think all stations have the feature. Not sure about Riesa though. It may. Also Niddeltalbahn?
I also had no idea how good Tharandte Rampe is until I decided to buy it this year. I love all or most of the German routes. Such quality!!
As far as i remember 1 cat at most stations station (2 at Peterborough), 2 in other places and 1 donkey - so as far as i know I placed 7 cats (1 not placed by me - so 8), and one Donkey somewhere "high up" ) (again that's the ones that i know of )
thanks sounds great! Love the little things like these.. i've only found 3 cats and 0 donkeys so far myself!
A bit. I just teleported back to my train (CTRL + 0) and used the free cam to get the last few shots. Cheers
Excellent job. Good creativity! Good story! I exploring routes. Landmarks helps to know where you are and also it's interesting!
Other German locos have it too like the 146.2 Dosto cab cars. Remember these locos are designed for OPTO shunting unlike here in the USA and Canada which requires locos to have two persons in the cab except for the MMA Railroad which used it
JT simply built an entire amusement park, complete with a moving roller coaster. I really can't believe it.
I was waiting for a signal to clear on BPO and it made an audible click when changing to yellow. I am loving the Pacer and this route!
It's incredible, such attention to detail. I wasn't planning on getting this route until a future discount as I enjoy modern traction more but I'm definitely going to buy it at full price to support this developer, just like I did with the TSG route, because I want us to continue to count on them for future work and that will only be possible if it's profitable for them. Thank you for this effort and attention to small details.
Such a beautiful screenshot. The signal clicks are lovely. I remember hearing them since forever but on older routes it adds that something special. Especially at a rainy night when a distant signal switches from stop to caution and the only sound comes from the signal change Cheers
Today I'm going on a short hiking trip (accessible terrain): Shortly behind Meißen train station you can take the footpath along the Meißen Elbe Bridge over the Elbe. The view here is great. You walk a short distance through a narrow old town street before turning left (seen here in the picture). From here you can cross the railway line via stairs and watch the trains. Train passing by towards Meißen/Dresden. Now there is a climb up stairs directly along the rock face. It looks tiring. Once at the top, you have the first elevated view of Meissen's old town. If you continue along the path, you will reach a quiet viewing point with benches... ...and a wonderful view. Of course also with a view of the Elbe and the railway line. A last look at the roofs of Meißen before the sun has almost set. It’s details like this and the freedom to explore your surroundings that I really appreciate about TSW.
It might not be very significant for many but to me, I find it to be a nice touch of detail, to have one normal panel cover and the other one bended a little bit, because of a faulty hinge. I like when trains aren’t 100% in a perfect shape.
Some of both, as well as tradition (on a US train, the conductor is the 'commanding officer,' and the engineer/driver reports to him. Ergo two people). At least we finally got out of the union requirement for five men, including a flagman!
This is a very good detail and one I only noticed tonight during my live stream. If you're playing with the class 142 Pacer, try and get underneath it so you can see the wheels and brake blocks. When you apply the brakes, you can actually see the block move into squeeze the wheel.
Quite an amount of details on Blackpool branches I’ve seen, here’s 3 I’ll show 1. Passengers waiting at the bus stop 2. Scenery not completely downgraded quite far away from the tracks, some symbols put onto this fountain asset also 3. Up into the office area at Blackpool North
The BR642 will lose its air pressure in its resevoir if you use the horn, which is pretty cool just like real life.
Do they still have a union requirement for 5 men moving a car indoors? Emissions regulations got to the point where the engine could safely be run indoors for short periods, so you would only need a driver and maybe a spotter or two, but the unions insisted that the four men formerly needed to physically push the car still be employed for the task, simply walking along at each corner with one hand touching the car.
