I’m here to explain that maybe Dovetail should actually listen to the community ask the people what they want in TSW4 and for me I think we need 844 to come to TSW4 As we only have British Steam locomotives and I highly think it is about time we got an American Steam Locomotive and who better to start with than the living Legend herself UP 844 I don’t understand why dovetail haven’t thought on doing this as again Steam locomotives exist look at all steam routes we have Spirit of Steam was a disaster as it took way too long and seems like a massive ghost town,peak forest only added 1 new loco and the ECML was awful as dovetail did the wrong section where is King’s Cross or York why aren’t they part of the route that is only 4 steam locos the Jubilee,8F,4F and Flying Scotsman if you would actually listen to the community dovetail you would be getting disliked everywhere I would fix this by maybe mentioning steam trains we are working on coming as loco add ons instead of always including new routes anyway all I’m saying is dovetail if steam locos exist show us that where is 844 or 611 where is 4014 just because steam locos exist doesn’t mean you should neglect other countries the steam locos treatment
UP #844 is a must, along with ATSF #3751 and #2926, N&W #611, SP #4449, and of course, UP #4014 and #3985. If we get UP #844, she should come with the UP SD70M that runs with her, the UP Water Tenders (both versions), and a UP Excursion Train consist. The SD70M could also be drivable, too. We could also get a few pieces of freight equipment for the SD70M, including cement hoppers, steel coil cars, coal hoppers, modern reefers, intermodal cars, etc.
In its current steam simulation, anything massive would most likely not work properly. Plus they were extremely complex beasts with tons on detail. Even the British ones struggle at the moment
