Hello everyone, As we're approaching the end of the year, we may have a traditional event where we'd have an opportunity to release a small set of new decals to be used be everyone in Livery Designer. We're looking ideally for shapes or decals that you would find useful (weathering effects for example) or that you would like to see to help with your creations! A reminder of course that we are under restrictions when it comes to licensing, so I won't be accepting any suggestions for licensed logos. We'd be looking at roughly 3-5 decals to add, so if you have ideas for a small range of shapes, effects or other things you'd like to see, please let me know in this thread! Thank you
1st Class Stickers and Coach letter stickers. Maybe more shapes to make Yellow fronts easier or some new text fonts
The hazmat Symbal is not licensed?, it's used globally by all that transport hazmat including Fuel, that includes oil, or any flammable liquids as well as some types of metal that react with water Very dangerous, including gases like oxygen. The tag 1267 with the small 3 helps emergency personnel identify the hazardous substance. As far as I know, no one nation or company owns the rights to it. There is a book that most emergency personnel are given provided they have the training, in that book, it gives all the info on just about every substance that is hazmat related, and many things are shipped internationally, like medical grade radioactive materials, So I don't think that would be an issue. It's been some years, but things could have changed, but I doubt it.
They weren't replying to the hazmat comment, they were CLEARLY quoting the post that said more companies.
Many many more hazmat symbols, Weight information about the Rail cars, Mountains, oh and National flags! Also guys, i'd like to make liveries for Freight Containers, thx.
I made several versions of the Avatar all PNG with and without the eagle and maybe even a black one it is the one I now have here, and I would be willing to put it in for all to use on the American locos.
Are country flags a thing in the livery designer? I think those would be cool. Especially since I've seen a fair amount of American trains with American flags on them.

I'm literally giggling at your failure of tsw4, havent touched tsw3 as 'small window after release of tsw4' has well and truly passed and you keep banging on about future stuff... joke bro! Gutted for JT - OPB .. literally the SAVER of tsw4 and if that comes out bugged by YOUR doing.... say goodbye to Tsw franchise. As a console player, your lucky I've no other option! PC users moving over in volumes to things like simrail or whatever and others going back to tsc speaks for itself. Please please sort everything out BEFORE even mentioning future stuff. Your digging yourselves a HUGE hole at the moment.
I think it would be nice to see maybe flags implemented from all countries and if possible a nice variety of American signs?? A lot of the signs are UK and German but no US signs to use with American made liveries.
I would have said the BR late and early crests along with double arrows but seeing as they are licence I will suggest another thing that would be useful for lining: A quarter of a circle outline, there is a semi circular one but in my latest livery (apart from the early crest) having a quarter of a circle outline would have saved the most time. If I have confused you Alex just let me know and I'll send a screenshot showing what I mean, as I think I have confused myself!
I’m going to put my backing behind a heart shape, and more generic vehicles (cars, trains, planes etc)
Now I know you said no licensing decals but you have lots of DB trains, so I am just gonna shoot my shot, how about the DB logo?
My suggestion a rail head shape ..some rr use that in logos ..another a crescent moon shape .cat head since there are cats in a few DLC s
OBB logo, both new and old, both being incredibly pain-in-the-bum affairs to make from scratch in Livery Designer
Suggesttion: All Historic European Railroad Company logo's German standard lettertype "Bahnschrift" in the text editor.
Apparently reading is hard for some people and they keep asking for specific decals that SPECIFICLY say they cant do in Alex's OP.....
Maybe add some Christmas decors, or some symbols of Pepsi and coca cola stuth, which would go great on some tankers and box cars for freight trains...
