Having fixed a problem where I did not have all the textures on the RSSLO Salzburg - Rosenheim route I now have a line across the sky - not sure what is causing it.
I'm not using any AP or other enhancements

The Scenario is a Quick Drive from Rosenheim with settings as Summer and Clear - I seem to be looking at the Sun on the Horizon in Build menu

Looking back to Rosenheim it is normal

I think I had this one before but a few years ago but I cannot remember what the solution was - maybe Time of Day files?

It looks like the super old problem you can see on some All Aboard routes, the skybox doesn't just rotate around but also flips. Might do something with the Earth's rotation, Spikee explained the game changed this at some point. The last pic is telling as you can see the clouds being rotated.
You may find a generic solution by him.

Yes, it's RSSLO's skydome that apparently has issues with some weather patterns and wind causing the the skydome cloud layers to move in the wrong direction, same as the vintage Kuju US sky. Can't be fixed other than changing scenario weather or sky (AP).

If I find the time, I'll look into it. Changing wind speed and/or direction in the weather blueprint might do the trick.

It's happened on other RSSLO routes as well, I think even before the core update. Might be worth dropping RSSLO a note on that.

They also have a positive instead of negative azimuth defined for the sun in their ToDs, so it's traversing the northern sky. Some info is hard to get through... :)

Better use 3D weather, I find the RSSLO TimeOfDay colours to be very dark at times, too grim.

749006 Enable Dynamic Clouds, that will fix it in the QuickDrives.

    Thanks triznya.andras & Spikee1975
I swapped the TOD files from another RSSLO route which has solved the problem.

I copied those from the Konstanz - Villingen route then renamed them to suit.

Right, but Konstanz-Villingen is by Maik Goltz, not RSSLO. :)

I just have to be a wisecrack ;)

As you have an RSSLO account, could you drop them a message and tell them about the issue?

I tried a different RSSLO route and on the first test it was ok but on the second test it had defaulted with the line across the sky.
So I had recently ran the Konstanz-Villingen and tried their files which seem ok.
I think I will send RSSLO a message and ask if there is a proper fix.

So I have copied the Weather Files from Konstanz - Villingen and I will see if that makes a difference.
I also posted some picture on RSSLO FB page and see if they reply.

Best to completely use AP sky and weather blueprints (needs changing scenario weather to AP's), or 3D.

I would need to purchase the AP Sky/Weather pack but I don't like it very much - too fussy.

Then just use 3D weather until RSSLO provide a fixed skydome.
