I purchased TSW4 on Xbox series S today and the game just hangs on the home screen. Has anyone else had this issue? I’ve tried restarting on multiple occasions but still does it.
I vaguely remember TSW3 doing exactly the same thing if you just install the core game with no other content so it might be worth checking in 'manage game & addons' to make sure your TSW4 folder is considerably larger than 7.7gb. If it isn't then just select the missing addons (click the game folder and "manage installation on internal drive") and save/apply the changes. It's quite common that the XBox store doesn't auto-download everything after confirming your purchase (I bought the deluxe edition of Teardown on Friday and had to manually install the Time Campers DLC) so if it is the case that you're simply missing some content then hurrah! If not then sorry, other than your Series S refusing to load the game because it doesn't want to lower it's standards, I really can't think of anything else.
