With the very nice Rivet Games Edi-Gla line I’d love to see some more Scottish routes, Fife Circle? edin-Dundee? Glasgow-Perth or Stirling-Dundee?

Yes. We need some more Scottish route. We're not very well represented in the game. We got a rubbish mainline route from rivet games in poor quality. And a
circle route for tsw2 wich is a fairly stop start boring commuter circle route. We need something brilliant that shows you the best of Scotland. Something like fife circle, west highland line, Scottish east coast mainline or highland mainline would be brilliant to see! I much agree, we could really do with another Scottish route. And it would be brilliant to see someone like just trains even to make it. Though I'm sure after what we've seen with tsw4, dtg will do a brilliant job as well if they make another one! :)

If we get another Scottish route, it's got to go via the Forth Bridge.

Oh definitely! DTG and third-parties to an extent have missed out on routes like the West Highland Line or Highland Main Line, but I do think it's time for a BR period Scottish route, since we have had two present-day routes so it only seems fair to do a BR route, and those two examples would look great if done properly (I'm talking JT Blackpool Branches or even S-Bahn Vorarlberg quality) :)

Late 70’s or early 80’s Highlands for me, the transition from Type 2 Class 26 and 27 to the 37’s.
Fort William to Mallaig, Dingwall to Kyle, part of the Highland Main Line (probably Inverness to Aviemore or Pitlochry to take in the two major summits at Drumochter and Schlod). At that time there was still a fair amount of freight traffic running too.

I'd prefer modern day but yea. Lots of good route options for Scotland.

Edinburgh to Dundee or Fife circle would be my choice(albeit in an ideal world that would be one route combined, TSW very much isn’t an ideal world)

I think ATM. Fife circle with a class 170 and class 158 would be a fan favourite for everyone if done right!

Yes, the Fife Circle Line is a good candidate for a route. The Forth Bridge, Class 158 and Class 170 would be included, plus there is potential for extensions to Dundee and/or Perth or even the new Levenmouth Rail Link to Leven could be added...

Definitely! Would love to see it go all the way to Dundee!

Thought the levenmouth rail link was still under construction? Wow.

Even if it went all the way to Dundee it still has future potential for extensions to Aberdeen and train dlc's for the inter7city hst, class 220/221 voyager and LNER Class 80x. :)

I'm sure all the track is laid however the two stations are still under construction, it would join the Fife Circle at Thornton Junction just north of Kirkcaldy so if this route releases, it is a possibility for an extension later down the line :)

We are quite well-represented in TSW considering the vast abundance of routes in England and Wales, when compared to up here.

EDN's quality isn't that bad, and Cathcart may be boring but is still a relatively unique route, set in Scotland.
Not every route can or will be a Fife Circle or West Highland Line. Some will be a bit more generic.

My point is there is a massive contrast in quality between Scottish and English routes. There are plenty of English routes. :(

Think the only reason we don't have a Welsh route is due to a mix of licencing and research issues. :|

Personally, I feel like they are avoiding making a scenic Scottish route for some reason. :(

We have two routes of a poor quality. Let's be honest, we could really do with something like fife circle rn. :)

England has some of the worst routes in the game.

    No and no again.
    No again.

I've been here before. I used to be on a mission to advocate Scotland for TSW but I realised relatively quickly that, actually, we don't really 'deserve' anything. We're a small country with a comparatively low number of lines compared to Germany, England, or other parts of Europe. Even parts of America.
It's a very... poor... suggestion that Scotland needs anything.
And just because the routes we have are sub-par, or are boring (subjective) - doesn't mean you can then discredit them.
P.S. - there is nothing to "be honest" about: we have what we have and we aren't entitled nor deserving of anything else; everything that does come is a luxury.
