I had my misgivings about buying 4 because of the new game/update debate but I picked it up on sale for £23.99 with 3 routes and that alone is reasonable enough, have also picked up and really like the Preston to Ormskirk route and variety of pacer, a couple of questions and the only annoying bug that I've found in game: • is there a fix for the HUD changing every time you change route? I'm a total convert to the minimalist HUD on 4 but I can't get it to stay on that setting • can the bug when you're on the store where your cursor constantly returns to the top bar instead of staying on locos or routes or wherever you want it to be, be fixed?, a minor point in the grand scheme of things but still its bloody annoying • I appear to have inherited a steam train, not sure what route its for but be must be a TSW4 base route (antelope line maybe) that comes with one, no training for it that I can find anyway?
You mean the F125, Metrolink? that's a diesel loco, you can look for training by searching for it I believe there is a steam loco coming with TSW4 aswell which would be the Flying Scotsman, a british steam locomotive. that however only comes with Deluxe or Special edition, or seperately purchasable as a loco DLC
The HUD issue was introduced in a recent update & it’s very annoying - hopefully DTG will move fast on the fix. The steam train I’m guessing is the Flying Scotsman, it’s a loco DLC for the ECML route.
Come on I know a diesel from a smoker lol, no its an 8F but I only appear to be able to select it in scenario planner.
oh riight the 8F yeah thats the Training Center version coming with the base game (not from any of the routes, literally just from the base game itself (who could've believed it? ))
