PC 7.6 Gb Steam Patch Today?

Just wondering what it is.

 

Weird, was only 500mb for me.
Do you own Arosa perhaps? New dlc for it dropped today, so maybe it got a bigger update.

According to SteamDB, updates for Arosalinie, RhB Anniversary Collection, and Edinburgh-Glasgow.

 

That would be almost twice the data of the core game for just that little green joint.

 

I don't know how I've gotten by for so long without a loading bar

 

did it take up extra memory (MB/GB) though ? A core update may have just needed for it to be reinstalled, happens a lot on Xbox

No, they haven't. Over at Rivet Games forums Jasper said that they have fixed broken sounds for passenger coaches, but didn't touch Ge4/4 physics, as fixing it would require remaking whole locomotive.

 

Hmm. A loading bar for the game launch is a good start.

How about a progress bar for overall bug- fixing on the main Home page?

It should start out as deep red and then hopefully change to orange and, sometime in the distant future, to green.

 

Second time they’ve used that line now.

Maybe instead of pumping DLC into the route, they should do what’s actually needed & fix the only loco on it.

Hopefully the upcoming Allegra will sub in (hopefully the Allegra will be in working order too).

Via free roam or scenario planner only. Plus tsw doesn't let you sub in an emu into a loco.

 

I must have read too much into "the “Allegra” features full dual voltage capabilities, with the 1000V DC operation of the Berninalinie, and the 11kV AC on Arosalinie, all selectable to take the train on either route." then, But, Given the Allegra runs as a EMU+ coaches, I wonder if it will actually be able to layer over the GE4/4 because it'll still have services to perform, like the run arounds
