That ECML extension is way to big of an ask. Especially Edinburgh - York, these routes would do better as separate dlcs.
In my opinion, TSW needs some small to medium-sized routes. For example (routes already in-game): London Underground Bakerloo Line, S-Bahn Zentralschweiz: Luzern-Sursee, Isle of Wight & Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr. I don't think S-Bahn was particularly well... its small but given its one from a big network its kind of weird. I think full lines of just one thing works a lot better - between say 15-40 miles maybe? Wherry Lines, A London overground line for instance could be gkkd.
Instead of Bedford to Orpington oriented around the Thameslink company May as well extend further north to Leicester and Peterborough to make EMR trains from London St Pancras - Peterborough and Nottingham possible.
