I have a question about the new timetable for Rhine-Ruhr, will there be ICE services which include a coupling process?

 

Still have not made a plan for the new HRR timetable but I can look into it.

I'm loving the work! Just a quick question that I've been wondering, are there any plans for the Velaro to be put into a Eurostar e320/Class 373 configuration/livery (even just as an AI train on SEHS)?

 

currently the Velaro is only being developed with German safety systems, might consider making an Eurostar version after it releases

 

what about an ICE 3 Neo? I know they're damn similar but might be worth it, right?

 

Are there any more Infos about the BR 462 an DB BR 1428 FLIRT³?

Hi, how do you create the models and bring them into the game. I want to make Dostos with high door entrance for my Hannover - Hamburg Route. Is there a tutorial somewhere? Thanks!

 

How did you create the models for all of the trains so fast?

 

Models are provided to me in different ways, a Few of the Locos are bought with a license that allows for redistribution, a few Models were created by a friend of mine, and a few of the models were made by myself, but are all edited by myself to be ready for unreal engine

 

Folezz I know it's a bit off topic or whatever but could you perhaps make a tutorial on how to make a retexture of a train? I am working on some small decal replacements for the ICE 3 but it won't work. and I don't want it as a variant but like the ICE 3 Enhancement Pack by Nagiphaaa so could you perhaps make a tutorial on that aswell, please? I'd really appreciate that!

personally I use Blender to model my 3D Models and then Substance Painter to texture them, they might be a bit intimidating at the beginning but there are a lot of good youtube tutorials that can get you started

Hello I've been gone for a while and all with good reason ofcourse , I was interested in learning Route Building to build a specific route I've always wanted in TSW and to fit one of the Trains I'm working on at the moment (you can try guess which one) and have progressed on a level I am very happy with so I've decided to show a tiny part of my route tonight between Düsseldorf Benrath and Hbf - I apologize for the bad quality I will check what the video looks like when youtube fully processes it and if its bad, I'll retake the video



please note that this is still a very ealry WIP (only 3 days worth of work) so expect some irregularities.

 

Lemme guess, it's rather the desiro hc or the velaro d

 

Its definetly Desiro HC as the Rhein-Ruhr Express

I really hope that there will be more about the Desiro HC soon! It's a vehicle that I'd love to see in the game next to the FLIRT 3! Just the fact that I was allowed to drive it myself in an internship makes it all the more special for me

it's damn sure that it's not avoidable that I'll try coupling the Velaro D to an ICE 3. I swear it was either my dumb view or actually true but I once saw an ICE 3 drive away from an ICE 3 Neo but I believe they tried coupling them because the Neo's end car heading out of the station was broken or whatever so uhhhhhhhh idk what I'm saying

nah but on a real note i think Velaro’s also use Schaku’s which would make it possible for them to couple to a BR403/6, I think it would even theoretically be possible to couple a 403/6 or a Velaro to a Desiro HC because they also use schaku

Edit : After asking Raph he added that Trains with Schakus could theoretically work together Mechanically but not Electrically.

 

yeah I wish I could've taken any pictures but my dum dum was too slow

and talking about Scharfenbergs coupler, why did DTG not make the 642 able to couple to anything else except itself? thats one of those sad things about TSW. it sure is couplable, but they didn't put that in the sim. unfair and I also ever wished to couple a loco to an EMU which uses a different coupler type, well it's possible iRL os why isn't it in the sim?

 

That's for sure, desiro hc and ice's were not meant to be coupled, and the coupler height should be lower for the desiro hc, right?

 

thought I'd send a few pictures of my progress today, track laying between Düsseldorf Hbf and Düsseldorf Benrath is getting close to its finishing stages, aswell as all the vegetation and scenery, 2 Stations have been built but are still undergoing a bit of work, the stations being Düsseldorf Bilk and Düsseldorf Volksgarten.

A lot of progress being made, I must say the S-Bahn line on this route is the most interesting I've personally seen in a while, the HKD (Hauptstrecke Köln - Düsseldorf) timetable will have the HRR version of the 422 and the SKA version of the 423 implemented for s bahn services.

(the screenshots here are between stations, Düsseldorf Oberbilk and Düsseldorf Eller Süd)

OHLE and Signalling is to be implemented after I have finished the whole of my track laying and scenery.

 

Hi, first of all, great work. Will it end up being an independent route or are you planning to extend yours with the HRR?

 

For starters it’s going to be an independent route, but might connect it to Köln - Aaachen when im done and If i extend to Duisburg then I can also connect it to Duisburg - Bochum, but I’ll have to see how the timetable dispatcher reacts to that.

 

that would be much of work. because both of the routes are on TSW2 standard. u would need to build it new on some parts or it wont fit with your TSW4 route

 

I don't think it'd be that hard to transfer some stuff through a TOD version

 

not quite, because the assets i used to build my route are the assets from SKA and HRR so therefore it will all look the same, all i would have to do is setup the TSW2 routes with TOD4.

 

okay, if u release your route will the desiro hc or ICE3D be available on start?

 

no those are seperate projects I suppose

 

my plan is to release the Desiro HC and the Route together, not quite sure if the Velaro D has services between Düsseldorf and Köln but if it does, it will probably not be that hard to add the services into the timetable for when it releases

 

i think it has because of deutz (the velaro d)
