They really made a separate timetable for just 4 services?

And why are the scenarios broken?

Was watching a friend stream it and the scenario ‘rolling stones’ the objective contact signaller was broken resulting in spads and derailments, and the icon was telling him to go to the engine room

No release date as it was pulled and no reason given why

Personally I like the pack. The liveries are great and the wagon is quite nice. BUT there is one thing that really bothers me:
The front and back of the Hakone one should be in the same colour as the letters on the side: Orange. The thing is: Rivet took their reference for the front of the RhB website and told me the livery had been approved by RhB. After asking RhB directly via Instagram DM, they told me that the front is in the same Orange as the letters irl indeed! I sent Rivet the message where they explained that the front is orange and even the sketch RhB sent me with the message on which you can see how the loco was painted. The answer of Rivet was that the livery had been approved by RhB.
Tbh that really bothers me because I don’t really think it was a matter to RhB whether the front was red or orange. But for me and I guess many others it’s a really important thing! It’s the wrong colour and probably an easy thing to fix (regardless of the price where this should be logical).
I’m the first person that will pay 12€ for two liveries even a third time- but if I do so, I want the liveries to be correct! It’s like an ICE with a pink stripe instead of red!

So please Rivet, fix this! This livery is really amazing and deserves better than the wrong front colour because with the orange front it really stands out!!

Apart from that: I also like Arosa. Yes, it’s not the most beautiful route- but it’s also relatively old. Personally I really can’t wait for Berninabahn and I’m happy to support Rivet furthermore- but I want to have the liveries I pay 12€ for to be in the correct colour at least.

But do you see EA Selling DLC for Fifa 20 when they have DLC for FC24 on release?
All DLC will only support the latest game and thats it..

No, but I do see TSC and how I don't need to buy it every other year just to be able to buy add-ons.

And good try trying to defend DTG's business practices by saying EA does the same. There is a reason everyone hates EA games.

They said they are overhauling the sounds. Scenery unfortunately can't be improved with the new lidar tech because that's remaking it from the ground up

It's 14. I watched a live from tsd and hentis to confirm and it's 84 for the original tt, 98 for the pack, 94 for the anniversary edition.

We can't say whether it would financially be worth it or not, but I wouldn't say it couldn't be done. There are plenty of devs who do overhauls like this for free of charge. And in my opinion the route would deserve a scenery remake with LIDAR terrain.

Two DLCs have been released for Arosa, I wonder why the Ge 4/4 II still doesn't have its own rolling sounds and the light settings (especially the left tail light) are still broken and the scenery could also use a long overdue update, it doesn't have to stay so empty and ugly. Well, maybe with the third DLC. Apart from that, I really like the new pack.

left tail light not working is actually correct. All the times I have been at the RhB, they only used the right one on the Ge 4/4 II. (I have only seen on Allegras and later trains that both were used, and even there very rarely. They mostly use only the right one too (or jsut the right white light).
But what I hate about the Ge 4/4 II lights, if you couple to waggons or coaches, the lights on that cab stop working, while irl, it would use the right white light there.
See here at 4:08, one white light on the back of the loco.

But Rivet can't be helped, I pointed so many things out to them, but they don't want to do anything.
As you can see in the video, wood is transported down the mountain, no in the game, you need to transport it up the mountain. etc, etc, etc ...

Rivet don't want any help, they just want to make the worst DLC possible.
They don't do any research (as they have shown with the baggage car on Bernina, or the wood on Arosa, ....)

Interesting. Any idea why the RhB has you switching on a light facing the wagons?

it’s not only RhB; it’s a general Swiss thing. The end of a train is a double red, the front is white and the back of the last loco before the wagons has one white on the right. If you have a double traction it would be:
    Red—>wagon—>wagon—>one white—>no light—>no light—> white

So if you have two locos the place where they face each other is completely dark.

Thanks for the info! Looking at real life videos of the line, you seem to be right.

Quite sad they didn't bother to reproduce this in the game. But headlight setup always seem to be wrong in TSW on any route and for any country. No dimmed headlight on the back of US trains either. Quite often EMU or cab car trains run with markers on front, or headlight on the back... You would think this is not rocket science for a game that aims to produce next level authenticity.

Thanks a bunch! I had no idea :)

True, which is a major pet peeve of mine. All of the tutorials on German stock telling you to turn the highbeams on, which is completely wrong. And all of the promotional screenshots doing the same.

So I'm just about done playing the scenarios in this pack, and honestly I found them enjoyable. The scenery somehow looks better and I enjoyed the variety of tasks involved, as well as the mix of freight and passenger. The only thing that would be an improvement was if the first power notch of the motors didn't immediately yeet you into 3MPH, but that's a holdover from the original physics.

I never truly enjoyed the original route and scenarios, I feel like this pack should have been how Arosa was at release, instead of what we got.

It appears to me that the anniverary loco‘s and the panorama car are not included in the new timetable, which is slightly dissapointing. If you have the content, you should be taking advantage of it in timetable mode.

I have a feeling Rivet does not know how to make timetables layers than turn on and off with add-ons. They made the Anniversary pack as a separate timetable as well, and it looks like their upcoming Class 66 pack too will be an entirely separate timetable.

But this begs the question, is noone from DTG willing to show them the proper way?

The 204 runs on the harbor line where none of the base-game services go.

The problem is without that pack, regular users of Arosa would loose over 3/4 of the services, if it was only 1 timetable, as those services are somewhat connected to the open coach. And that is not an option either ...

The open coach is used in regular trains, not additional trains.

We're really sorry about basically saying you're wrong and calling it a day. I think anyone who does a quick google search will agree it's not as clear as it may seem - especially if you consider that RhB approved the livery.

We had another look and chat and want to acknowledge that the livery is indeed orange at the front. We're talking about this interally to see what we can do. I'll update you once I know something new. Again, sorry!

Yeah well, old story but hey: These devs don't need to make any money with that. But imagine working at a company and the boss asks you to work overtime - without getting payed. I think I know your answer to that... ;)

On the technical side: As pointed out by some other members, it's not as easy as slapping the new terrain onto Arosa. It would involve moving everything that's on the old terrain to their new positions, making it de facto a rebuild. Which we would love to do, but that's not an option as of right now (unfortunately). Hope this explains that topic a bit better.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the topic about the wood going the wrong way around was updated a long time ago...
For the baggage car - I can't see a baggage coach on Arosa, what are you talking about? Jokes aside, the baggage car is removed, it won't show up in any of the services / scenarios. We do listen is all I'm trying to say (and change things whenever possible!).

Sound good! And yes, it seems red on some pictures indeed- and especially on the picture of the RhB ;D
But I‘m really happy you’re getting back and taking a look- thanks!

Don’t want to derail this thread, so I’ll just point it out once. About my pet peeve…
A new promotional shot and what do I see? A 185 with high beams on in the middle of the day…
