Sfm Torino Not Works Textures

the route has always worked, yesterday I installed the improvement of the skies and the atmosphere, and suddenly it gives me these yellow and black things only on this route, everything else works correctly, I kindly ask for urgent help on how to resolve it, thank you very much

for uninstallation: I opened utilities, I uninstalled the route, and then deleted the folder from content/routes, I have all the components of the route, I reinstalled from scratch with .exe and when I open the quick drive scenario these yellow and black on the ground

 

Are you a member of the Trainsim Italia facebook group? I think they could be a good resource. I’ve had good help there in the past.

Where can I get this route? Googling wasn't helpful, leading to blog entries or just a lot of scenarios for that route, but I couldn't find a route download link...

Well i couldn’t be of much help. Except you now know this problem might only apply to you, and sometimes that helps un truobleshooting.

Just register. I must have done that because i have the route. It is pretty good. Great considering it’s freeware and all assets are included.

 

I simply checked the integrity of the game file from Steam, greetings

 

Thanks, got it. Seems the scenarios are using some repaints I don't have - NOT default stock as claimed, but that's quickly solved.

There's an asset path mismatch somehow.

I have the RSItalia BR185 pack which installs to Assets\RSItalia\BR185_pack, but the route wants to load it from Assets\RSItalia\Addon\...



Wonder why the Black 101 is numbered as a 185 though... but I know nothing of Italian rolling stock then.

 

I haven’t noticed any impact from that mismatch. The scenarios included use kuju stuff for ease i get. A BR101 would never run in italy. Wrong OH current. The 185 does freightservices, so i guess he just renamed the 101, since they look kinda similar.

 

I've swapped the missing stock, 185, 146 and Shimmns from RSItalia\Addon were missing in the default scenarios.

The route is great, just some milk bottles (dev leftover dummy signals from Assets\Cast\Dummy). Instead of removing all these, I've created dummy invisible filler assets myself. (Just a simple blueprint that doesn't refer to any GeoPcDx)

 

Doing my visual route check (replacing the milk bottle with a chimney model) - TSTools does not correctly report missing stuff....

These assets are also not included in the download (Rotabili Italiani\Scenery\Buildings....)

Regarding the milk bottles. Good solution. I might enquire later as to exactly how it’s done, because they too are bugging me.

 

Here they are. Replacement for the missing dummy assets that were only used as a tool for signal placing, but the author has not completely removed them from the route.

This is just an asset without a shape, to remove the bottles.

For route checking, I've just copied the OxPadd chimney GeoPcDx from Kuju\RailSimulator\Scenery\Buildings to RailSimulatorCore\System\Missing.GeoPcDx, it's easily visible from far away.

 

I'm really glad I've discovered this gorgeous route. Have gathered all missing assets and really enjoying this. Just another route that the "future of train simulation", TSW, will never match in terms of size and lovingly crafted assets.

It's better than many commercial DLC, and I'm happy there's people out there crafting such routes.



All milk bottles disappeared, and after installing Torino-Genova all the stock was there too.

 

I too love Sfm Torino. It hits the north italian vibe extremely well, i can say that with the experience as one who have traveled northern italy extensively since childhood.

Downloading Venezia - Milano v2 now.

I have downloaded as many assets as I could get for italian content yesterday, makes it much easier now as I'll meet all asset requirements for other freeware routes.

Some of the assets bring a lot of .xml, .tgt and .cost files, you can delete them all for a nice and clean installation.
