My route suggestion is the Marshlink line set in 2003 with a Southern region Thumper DEMU (in Network Southeast and Connex Livery) (known for their unique sound: ), a class 171 Turbostar and several freight services to the nuclear power plant at Dungeness It is one of the last un-electrified and diesel line in the south east (along with the Uckfield line). It also has a freight only branch down to Dungeness, down to the UK's only desert. services continue onto Eastbourne so the 171 can layer onto the timetable there. 2003 would be the perfect era as it would be just as the 171s were being introduced onto the line so you get the contrast of the 171 with the thumper. The 171 could also be repainted and used on MML as a XC 170 and a EMT 170 and onto BCC forming XC services and Fast WMR services between Birmingham and Bromsgrove (they don't run here anymore but back when the route is set they did) If you have any questions about this line for someone who is local please DM me or reply to this message! there could also be a scenario where you rescue a 171 with an electrostar (or vice versa) as they can work in multiple
I have suggested this route before as it would make a great addition to the game, though I did go a bit mad with my particular suggestion. I included Marshlink to Eastbourne, Ashford to Margate, Ashford to Ramsgate, and Ashford to Dover Priory via Folkestone as one big route.
Considering DTG's previous routes I think that's pretty unrealistic, as much as I would love it... thats a lot of route to build
All I say is its already in progress... I'll refrain from posting anything however just know it is coming along...
Hopefully it does end up being somewhat of a hit regardless of wether it's payware or freeware. To be perfectly honest if I do finish it and it's community liked hypothetically I don't really care about the money.
Excellent idea overall speaking of the FNA Flasks those were made by Just Trains in TSC. Perhaps they should remake them again for TSW 4 for this route and the Blackpool to Ormskirk via Preston route to access the Springfields nuclear fuel facility
I mean not really. Look at TSC for instance. Some absolutly AWFUL routes at 25 pounds meanwhile there are routes like the Updated PDL, SE network, VDL and the list goes on that are *technically* Free. Albeit I think for someone with minimal knowledge of UE4 and somebody who had to restart the project is going alright persay...
