Yes it does. Just hope they set it so it will work on the 4th rail as well as 3rd rail, as the 313 doesn’t work on the DC lines.

With a bit of Creators Club magic, maybe an c2c 720/6 could appear, to bolster traffic through Barking.

Wonder if the S7 stock will be modelled?

WSR Update looks nice, 111 is something to look forward too, but not jumping on any hypetrains again. Time to get the Editor done and fix core features instead of teasing new stuff. So I won't get too excited for all of this.

How is it possible that the Editor was a launch feature for TSW 4, still isn't able to cook content and we can assume this to be integrated within 4-6 month? So possibly it will be out 9-10 month after release?

Not sure about the suspension update, besides the waggons CAN bounce around like this, this shouldn't be the case all the time. So how is it done? It should depend on the track, the trackbed etc. If the waggons are that bouncy on something like Schnellfahrstrecke Kassel Würzburg it would be unrealistic.

    Yes.
Willesden (Junction) and Wembley sidings are where the Class 710's are stored / maintained.
Hence the reason for extension to Willesden Junction (Also a part of Richmond - Stratford route would be available for us to drive).

No the 104 is for Peak Forest, together with two new freight wagons and a good portion of gameplay.

Yup, us North American Players get the shaft again, no teasers for the new US route in 3 months....

Also it seems like the US loco DLC has been pulled off the roadmap, fun....

At least I have Railroader plus other game updates to keep me occupied over the next few months.....

That is an incredible roadmap. Excited for the UK stuff. Especially the GOBLIN

So is the ‘steam’ timetable for WSR just for steam trains? The current diesel timetable is quite unforgiving and quite difficult to be on time - especially for a relaxed preservation route.

I think it’s a good route choice, a lot of people have been asking for more suburban commuter type routes and it’s been a while since London has featured in TSW, also I think the 710 is a train that many people will enjoy with its family of trains being familiar across the UK, if DTG manage to pull off an accurate and immersive representation of the route I may be forced to pick up TSW4 and the GOBLIN Line DLC!

Nice to see a Br111 being teased, although I'm in general quite sceptical regarding the future looking at past releases and bugs and missing fixes and so on...
However, I notice the Austrian loco has disappeared from the roadmap?

Goblin line will be very similar to the Birmingham cross city line I think? I’m not familiar with the route at all. Haven’t bought TSW4 yet and can’t say this excites me. At least Birmingham has future potential with layers potentially being added. Not sure if there could be layers for this or not?

The Goblin Line runs freight as well as passenger. The EMU is modern and cool too, see my photo.

The West Somerset Remaster looks very good, hopefully we start to see more of these remasters with older routes like the Clinchfield and LIRR (I’m a diehard U.S route person i know)

I was driving the 142 is the snow with the external camera and its very clear how the suspension is implemented and I'm not impressed anymore in how it is done.

It basically throws the axels off axis with the track bed making it look like the body is moving. It looks really bad in full snow.

Appreciations to DTG (particularly Liam from what I’ve heard from the stream) for bringing the new WSR update at no cost.

I really hope they update that Class 47/8 that came with the route to TSW 4s Standards. That 47 was perfect for TSW1 until the NTP Version came

The updates to WSR and Peak Forest may actually make me reconsider getting TSW4 yet before release of Union Workshop's route.

I thought this was a great roadmap, the free upgrade to WSR has my mouth watering as I regularly ride it and it does need steam, I'm budgeting now to make 1st day purchases on the 2 UK routes and the Swiss one as well. Very positive stuff.

With a lot of stops, it's almost like a bus route on tracks.

Did notice in the roadmap stream, Matt talked about mods on console.

I certainly would recommend the Bethesda games approach on that as the top prime example to have a look at (you may have already) with Fallout 4 and Elder Scrolls V Skyrim.

the user interface is quite similar to CC in TSW for one challenge to handle

Appears to be a seperate 'Steam Gala' timetable, based on a real timetable supplied by WSR but with changes 'for gameplay reasons', which I suspect is because sometimes the real timetables include long stops at particular stations - for example a couple of them have little museums you can pop into - so those have probably been shortened.

It looks like Peak Forest is pretty much a must have for most of the timetable, with other steam locos also added if you own them.

The saying used to be "if it's not on the roadmap, it's not coming". But apparently even if something is on the roadmap it does not guarantee anything, because it very easily might just disappear from the roadmap, lol.

I assume not, as DTG have a route due first.
Rivet's UK route is looking like another scotrail one, as they posted a 380 on their twitter/X feed, and they rarely do anything without reason there.

    Great roadmap!
    • Rosenheim - Salzburg is a great announcement. I live not far away from that area, and am especially looking forward to the area around the Chiemsee lake, which is very beautiful in real life. I stay there multiple times per year, it’s my favorite lake in Germany. Have even slept in the small town of Prien, where a station on the route is located, a few times. Hope to see great scenery and lots of custom models there! There are also great branch line opportunities with the Chiemgaubahn, for example.
    • The new London Overground route looks intriguing. Could be a cool ride through urban London if the scenery is represented well. Not sure if the comparatively short route and service length would justify full price, though.
    • Peak Forest pack is just what the route needed. May pick up the pack and the route (on discount) if the quality turns out to be good enough.
    • West Somerset Remastered is such a great surprise. I went there during my UK holiday in the summer. By coincidence, we had lunch near the sea promenade at Watchet, which is now beautifully recreated and accessible in the game. Just makes me happy that they gave this old route another chance, along with a much-requested steam timetable. I‘m wondering about the new track near Norton Fitzwarren, since this area is already modeled and accessible (albeit not used in the timetable very much). I wonder what they added there. Am also curious why Peak Forest is required for the bulk of the steam services, as it‘s a rather niche route and not owned by many. Why is Spirit of Steam, arguably the only steam route owned by most players, not represented in the timetable at all? It even has two of the three locos included with Peak Forest. Having to buy Peak Forest just to enjoy a WSR steam timetable mainly comprised of locos I already own through SOS sounds unnecessary and unfortunate…

Yes, US fans have gotten the short end of the stick once again.

I see something about the NYT timetable, but nothing about the numerous other bugs on that tortured route.

And what did happen to that US loco that was on the November Roadmap but mysteriously disappeared in December?

I agree with the other 3 people who mentioned US routes, what happened to the US loco add on that was previously on the roadmap. As it appears there are UK and German routes that have gotten extended and remastered, what about US routes. Why haven't US routes received the same treatment. One route in particular that is in dire need of a remaster and corrections to scenery is the Long Island Railroad. So much is missing from that route compared to the TSC version. I believe it would be great to include the entire Port Washington Branch, bring the Oyster Bay portion of the branch up to Oyster Bay, and continue the mainline east to Ronkonkoma instead of ending at Hicksville. As routes are receiving extensions and remasters, I think it would be a great idea over time to release updates to scenery and trackage over routes so that way, we can complete the whole network. While most likely not feasible to include the entire LIRR, I still think it deserves some TLC and remastering just like the other UK and German routes. Also, NYT still needs the NYC skyline

Well this is definitely the best roadmap so far for TSW4. I thought the "hints" would be a bit more nuanced though, like we'd actually have to have some speculation instead of it being outright revealed.

That being said, I'm quite excited for the Goblin line. I always thought an Overground route in TSW would be kinda neat, and honestly I think they made the best possible choice. The Goblin line is probably the most iconic line on the Overground (it's the only one with a name after all), and the 710 is a more interesting proposition than the 378, which is too similar to existing Electrostars.

I'm glad the 104 is on the way. It's about time we got another first gen DMU, and that's coming from someone who doesn't usually play BR era routes that aren't steam. Peak Forest has needed this for a while so I'm glad to see it.

The remastered West Somerset looks fantastic, and I'm glad it's free. I'm not sure whether it'll be enough to make me reinstall it though. You can throw as many trains at it as you like, I simply will never find trundling along at 25mph fun. At this point I think the only thing that would definitely make me pick it back up would be if they added a proper Great Western engine that I saw on the line as a kid, like a Prairie tank or Manor.

No German or extended routes have got remastered, and the U.K. was a personal project of a member, kinda like what Joethefish does with timetables.

    no new U.K. extensions neither

not really it was reverted to original intention minus the Flughafen branch.

the route got cut and put back together by a few members of the team.

Dresden did get TOD4 probably as they had time to do a route and as the vectron and plans for the 232 will see that route, that one was chosen, but nothing else for the route specifically being done anymore now though (announced that is)

I wouldn’t call it remastered though, there’s more than TOD4 for that requirement in my view.

Boston providence also got the same treatment… so unless the American fandom wants to admit fair game then can’t really argue with Germany :D

they announced the route and got every one exited with all the branch potential and reduced it from 4 or 5 down to 2 or 3, ended up now as 3 or 4 as Flughafen never returned.

The news caused quite a big backlash back then :D

Question for DTG. Will there be a toggle for the snow kick up? I'm think this should be an option to turn off. Also, I have noticed that the AI on some routes do not use windshield wipers during rain and snow, I hope this is fixed because it doesn't look good..takes from the immersion. I noticed it in West Somerset route, so I hope it gets fixed in the upgrade/update.
