Hearing WSR is being remastered makes me happy. It's a plus that it will be free. I'm going to bias and say hopefully LIRR is the next route to be remastered. I've posted in here before saying the route needs to be extended to another branch line like Oyster Bay. Hopefully DTG keeps doing this. Which route would you want to be remastered?
I’d say GWE needs it the most, and I’d really like to see a good scenery upgrade on that route. a big LIRR timetable would be great for that one.
an LIRR remaster would be great. But it probably wouldnt be Oyster bay added. That would require the diesels and dual modes, which are so finicky, word is that LIRR kinda dont want to licence it. Plus they can be real troublesome from what ive heard and seen. Id say they should go with East Side Access (Grand Central service) and if another branch is added, why not something on the south shore line. Like The Far Rock, Long Beach or even the Babylon. or just extend the mainline to either Huntington/Pt Jeff, Ronkonkoma or both
I would love to see Port Jefferson in the game. I didn't know the dual modes were crappy. Would've love to see them in the game hence why I recommended Oyster Bay. I would love to have scenarios/timetables for work crews with the LIRR switcher. I believe it's a MP-15 like what Cal Train has so it would just be a new livery.
East Coastway hands down needs the TSW4 Upgrade its such a great route been a gem for a long time always called for it to be extended as well so finger cross they look into this now we know they can do TSW1 Routes i put my money on this one
Totally agree. Especially now that London Commuter is in the game. It would be awesome if ECR and London Commuter were one big route.
Maybe don't combine them, but get rid if the ECW 377 and replace it with the BML one, and extend East Coastway to Hastings and Ore where its services terminate.
100% but we not at that stage of mega routes due to limits to the memory and time frame to build routes
GWE is the oldest and most out of date (tsw feature wise) and deserves a complete makeover. Although many disagree, I think it would be wise to remain in 2015 for the setting as before and after versions would require much more additional work. The branches to Greenford, Brentford, Colnbrook, Windsor, Marlow and Henley on Thames, as well as possibly Basingstoke too, are a absolute must for any such project. The freight branches, of which Colnbrook is one of the two, has to happen now that we have TEA tanker services courtesy of Skyhook Games. Throw in some waste container wagons and Brentford Waste Terminal services would also add some variety. The branch lines should easily be possible if built the current and most up to date way. Fingers crossed.
East Coastway deserves a makeover to include the Wivelsfield line as well as extension to Hastings and Ore. The current rendition is sorely lacking without them.
London 2 Brighton could do with a make over/remastered. Updated timetable with the Thameslink Class 700/0/1 Subbing in that time table as well as, GX Class 387/2s being shared with Southern services because that has happened in real life before.
It was disbanded because if I remember right every time they fixed one problem ten more appeared. Too much work for too little benefit was the result.
