Living in the US and on the East Coast I wouldn't mind seeing some Allegany and Blue Ridge Mountain steam power. I'd really like to see some Alleganys in the game, considering there are 3 lines that they ran on already in game.

The C&O Alleghenies/Virginian RR Blue Ridges would be awesome. C&O's big 2-6-6-6s were even heavier than UP's Big Boys. We should get some US steam in TSW4. Here are some more ideas for existing routes, in addition to the Alleghenies and Blue Ridges:

    -Horseshoe Curve:
    -PRR K4s
    -PRR T1 Duplex
    -PRR H10 2-8-0
    -PRR J1 2-10-4
    -PRR I1 "Hippo" 2-10-0
    -PRR M1/M1a/M1b 4-8-2
    -PRR L1 2-8-2
    -PRR Q1 or Q2 Duplex
    -PRR B6sb 0-6-0

    -Cajon Pass:
    -ATSF #3751 4-8-4
    -ATSF #2926 4-8-4
    -Other ATSF 4-8-4s (3751,3765, 3776, and 2900-Classes)
    -ATSF 2-10-10-2
    -ATSF 2-10-2 3800-Class 2-10-2
    -ATSF #5000 2-10-4 ("Madam Queen")
    -ATSF 5001 or 5011-Class 2-10-4

    -Sherman Hill:
    -UP Big Boy (including #4014)
    -UP Challenger (including #3985)
    -UP FEF1, FEF2, and FEF3 (including #844)
    -UP 4-12-2
    -UP 2-10-2
    -UP 2-8-0

    -Sand Patch:
    -B&O EM-1 2-8-8-4
    -B&O "Big Six" 2-10-2
    -B&O P7 4-6-2
    -B&O Q-Class 2-8-2

    -Others:
    -NKP Berkshire #765
-Pere Marquette Berkshire #1225 (Polar Express)
    -SP GS4 #4449
    -Milwaukee Road S3 4-8-4 #261
-Shay Locomotives (and Heislers and Climaxes, too)
    -SP Cab Forwards
    -N&W J-Class 4-8-4 #611
    -N&W Class A
    -N&W K-Class 4-8-2
    -N&W Y6 2-8-8-2
    -N&W #475
    -Southern RR #630 and #4501

No new steam locomotives should be made until manual firing is added.

Or, more importantly, until steam physics are configured to be more realistic.

    Not really.

Manual firing isn't essential to driving, realistic physics are.

Manual firing is essential to driving unless they implement a mind-reading auto fireman.

    But it isn't.

Improving the automatic fireman would be good enough. You're making it sound like manaul firing is essential.

The automatic fireman has to stoke like crazy and cause the valves to constantly blow off because it has no way of knowing when steam will be needed. And if you actually implement water/injector simulation there really isn't a reason at that point to not have the option to manually control the injectors and fireman.

I think you're missing the point:

All that is needed is an automatic fireman. He/she can manage the fire and water.

I never at all said manual firing shouldn't be there, but that it isn't needed. It'd be cool to have though.

If you have a realistic water and fire simulation, there is no reason not to have manual firing.
