I really hate it when people make forums that say "please add this engine" and that's it or for example "virgin trains" and that's all they say. At least include a small bit of information or at least pictures. Post like these make me want to eat crap with a splinter.
What's even worse when is getting loco or route suggestions all over the place rather than in the content suggestion subforums.
Proposals like these really show how little they care about the loco/route. It's like "here's the name and you can google there rest if you want. Then come back and give me the upvote that I deserve". here is a list of things that I think should be part of every loco proposal: - name of the locomotive - usecase (passanger, freight, shunter, etc.) - pictures (external, cab, something else if it's interesting) - what should it come with (if anything) - what existing routes can it run on - why is it special (personal relationship also counts) here is a list of things that I think should be part of every route proposal: - final destinations - route length - top speed - route map (can be traced in Google earth. I doesn't matter) - pictures of iconic spots along the route and it's enviroment - possibilities for train operation - three trains that should come with the route with their basic informations and usecases (single picture for each of them since there is not much space and also because of the picture limit) - additional trains that should be released as DLCs for the route (if there are any interesting ones) - why is it special (personal relationship also counts) That's about it. i hope that something like this will be put together and pinned to the very top of the proposal sections so that everyone can see it and actually try to write something.
