Does anyone know if heavy haul will be added to xbox one? I've heard it was too hardcore for the consoles to handle yet I also read that they might do it after all? Any updates?

Hello Railfan 1980. DTG ruled out HH for consoles at the moment, because it would need to much resources. In the meantime I do the freight services of the other routes. I bet in TVL we will get exiting cargo action beside the steel plants.

Thanks. Was just wondering. I've seen conflicting reports one way and the other.

I really hope they can make it happen at some point. I remember the Sandpatch expansion for the original MSTS (I think it was by Maple Leaf Tracks?), which was pretty amazing, especially for way back then. I'd love to experience it again on Xbox.

In any case, i hope a proper US freight route is incoming soon. I'd love a Conrail-era eastern US route, but I've heard that's a no-go licensing-wise. Something like the NS Coal District from TS20XX would be quite nice. Or a CSX route in PA/NJ/NY area...

It might be possible. Since DTG released the new physics update it may be the beginning of figuring out a way to get the route to consoles.

I think its more likely that a new US route appears that has a familiar feel to CSX HH.

They said during the latest stream that they dont have plans for that at the moment as it would require too much work / time. They probably want to spend that elsewhere

I hope the next US route will be a mix between freight and passenger services with heavy EMD diesel locomotives. And when it comes with shunting action it would be perfect.

If theres an American route with the service mode aspects of Tees Valley. Wont that be better than Heavy Haul?
