I was setting up the BR 422 on Hauptstrecke Rhein Ruhr and noticed that the destinations for the S3 routes are missing on the FIS. I've seen multiple reports of the wrong 422 being spawned into the route and I also installed a FIS mod that I didn't realize was incompatible with TSW4. I've already deleted it and I'm curious if these problems are stemming from the mod I installed or the game itself.
HRR isn’t the home route of the 422 and thus many trains don’t have anything other for PIS than which route they originated. consider it as driveable only, rather than specific for services.
Iv'e seen some other gameplays where people were able to set it correctly. I've also heard that the wrong 422 is spawned in.
perhaps you used the wrong 422, I ain’t too sure, maybe try loading in both and having a look through. If You’ve definitely seen it on other videos etc then possibly a mod issue.
Which destination exactly are you missing? There's three S3 destinations on the 422 for HRR, Westbound "S3 Oberhausen", the "S3 Essen" (coming from either direction) and Eastbound "S3 Hattingen-Mitte". That's correct. What other S3 destination are you missing that's not part of the above lines? Example: The S3 service Essen Steele-Ost - Mülheim Styrum is the westbound "S3 Oberhausen" coming from Hattingen, which is available in the FIS. The FIS always shows the terminal station - not where TSW wants you to stop necessarily. The S3 goes to Oberhausen (not included in the route), not Duisburg (that's the line S1), so that's correct:
The ones that you mentioned that I'm supposed to have arent there. I'ts probably because of a mod I installed that broke the game. I tried reinstalling and it still doesnt work so I might have to uninstall the route itself.
Yes it is the home route. forensic#3270 It seems you still have a mod that has messed the 422 up. There is only this one in the game. Home route is HRR, and it layers on RRO. This is the destination list in the files. You have a mod that modifies this list, showing destinations where a 422 wouldn't run in reality.
Ahh okay. Is there any wat to reconfigure the destinations? even though I deleted the mod, uninstalled the game, and tried reinstalling the route it still doesn't work.
You reconfigure the destinations by a) really making sure there's no mod that messes with them or b) reinstalling the DLC. My impression is there is still other files than "TS2Prototype*.pak" files in your game folder. Or you are using a mod where the author also used that prefix, which makes it hard for you to tell if it's an original file. (My mods all have the prefix "tm")
Everything that's not beginning with "TS2Prototype-WindowsNoEditor" is a mod. I've seen mods also using that prefix, which is bad, as it's harder to remove them unless you know their name. You're aware there's a mod manager on trainsimcommunity under TSW/Utilities? I recommend using that for you.
I did search for mods and theres non there. I already deleted it from the game and it still doesn't work
I just realised that its only giving me the olston br422 to choose and not the HHR one, I wonder if theres a way to get the right one.
