I didn't warn people about buying TSW2020 DLC, I warned them to be careful when buying because the two games' DLC were mixed together in the sale.
Train Sim World®: Sherman Hill: Cheyenne - Laramie Route Add-On - TSW2 & TSW3 compatible 17,99 € https://store.steampowered.com/app/...__Laramie_Route_AddOn__TSW2__TSW3_compatible/ Train Sim World®: Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr: Duisburg - Bochum Route Add-On - TSW2 & TSW3 compatible 17,99 € https://store.steampowered.com/app/...g__Bochum_Route_AddOn__TSW2__TSW3_compatible/ I would the second one buy because I intend to buy the BR101 but this route is for me still too expensive for "only" 46. I already have Rhein Ruhr Osten and I don´t think that there is also a big difference concerning the atmosphere too. Plus I´ve read that HRR is not mandatory to plaw the BR101 on other routes.
Errr....err.....I mean, yeah, PC sales, they are great. To be honest, this forum is where most of the pertinent information to the game is really.
Train Sim World® 2: Hauptstrecke München - Augsburg On sale worldwide £4.17-5.00 https://isthereanydeal.com/game/trainsimworldiihauptstreckemunchenaugsburgrouteaddon/info/
Thank you for this, can't confirm the code I've been given works as my PC is currently undergoing maintenance, however everything seems to check out.
CDKeys (the site's misnamed now, really, as it sells online DLC keys) TSW2 for £2 SEHS, NTP, Tees Valley, MSB etc for under £5 https://www.cdkeys.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=Train+Sim+World+2 I picked up SEHS so it's legit. Probs trying to get rid of old keys prior to the big Steam summer sale, forecast to start on Thursday.
There is very little cd key sales on the web for TSW3 DLCs but this site is also worth keeping an eye on https://www.fanatical.com/en/franchises/train-sim-world
From what I can see the “big” Steam Summer Sale starts on 29th June, this coming Thursday. Torn between grabbing a couple of routes like BCC, Lubeck or Lucerne which I’m not overly fussed about, or hanging on to my credit to see what the summer releases are like, or possible TSW4 as being discussed elsewhere.
For those that still have not picked it up, East Coastway is under £2 on a couple of sites. No Brainer at that price. Advertises as a key for TSW2, but I have never had a problem using these keys in TSW3
I was so close in getting TSW3 the other week after hearing the good vibes around the guard mode and when they said they were doing a live stream with the RailDriver I thought DTG were improving. Then came the announcement DTG had cancelled the stream over a delivery even though Matt has one. So I thought 'sod it' if they can't be bothered why should I. Think I will wait for TSW4.
Humble bundle has a package: https://www.humblebundle.com/games/...rce=Humble+Bundle+Newsletter&utm_medium=email
Steam summer sale 6pm Thursday 29th June - 6pm 13th July 25-80% discounts, mostly 45/50% There are fewer large discounts as previously, which is good that DTG are in that position, but not so good for us players. They've changed strategy across their sales; offering the largest discounts, more selectively, but with at least one in every sale, so a more consistent policy across all sales, leading to a smoother revenue stream, rather than going large, with Steam, in the summer & winter sales. I'm fine with that. £4.99 (-80%) - Bakerloo Line Route Schnellfahrstrecke Koln-Aachen Sand Patch Grade £7.49 (-70%) - Long Island Rail Road: New York - Hicksville
I got an E-Mail from Humble Bundle today - guys, check that out, I miss just one route but this is a good opportunity to aquire a lot of DLC when you are quite new to the franchise: https://www.humblebundle.com/games/..._tile_index_1_c_trainsimworld3megahaul_bundle "Command the power, speed, and industrial might of the world’s most iconic locomotives in Train Sim World 3! Our first-ever bundle for Dovetail Games’ latest entry in the acclaimed, authentic series features everything you need to hop aboard or expand your collection, including the Standard Edition and a haul of additional globe-spanning routes and real-world trains—up to 15 routes with over 30 locos to drive, all compatible with TSW3. Ride the bustling Birmingham Cross-City Line, blaze through Germany with the high-speed ICE 1, and much more, and help support SpecialEffect with your purchase!"
Re Humble Bundle, that worked a treat - got three routes worth nearly £70 (or £35 in the Steam sale, maybe) for less than £11. And of course I can now get the discount on Glossop, too!
TSW3 - Standard Edition - £6, 80% off on Steam until 16th November (inc Cajon Pass, Schnellfahrstrecke Kassel - Würzburg, Southeastern Highspeed) Schnellfahrstrecke Kassel - Würzburg - £14.99, 50% off on Steam until 13th November Southern BR Class 313 - £5.99, 50% off on Steam until 13th November
Great timing on the 313, just picked up the ECW Steam Route on last sale and was keeping an eye out for this one
Train Sim World® 3: Spirit of Steam: Liverpool Lime Street - Crewe Route Add-On Historical low: £14.99 £14.99 (-50%) on Steam Train Sim World 2: Spirit of Steam: Liverpool Lime Street - Crewe Route Add-On Historical low: £12.49 £12.49 (-50%) on Steam Train Sim World® 2: Rhein-Ruhr Osten: Wuppertal - Hagen Route Add-On Historical low: £6.24 £9.99 (-60%) on Steam Train Sim World® 4 Compatible: Rhein-Ruhr Osten: Wuppertal - Hagen Route Add-On Historical low: £24.99 £9.99 (-60%) on Steam
Its a flat 50% reduction so its the base prices that are different from the times when routes were £25 and not £30 each. There isn't a £5 upgrade, they just put the prices up.
But TSW2 subscription package gives you both the DLC for TSW2 as also TSW3 (upgraded) version, so if you own TSW2 but intend to play it in TSW3 instead, it's cheaper to get the DLC for TSW2 anyway.
Train Sim World® 4: Deluxe Edition Historical low: £34.44 £31.79 (-40%) on GreenManGaming, activates on Steam £26.39 with voucher NOV17 (may not work on this game) Train Sim World® 4: Special Edition Historical low: £71.54 £45.00 (-50%) on GreenManGaming, activates on Steam (£37.35 with voucher NOV17 (may not work on this game)) £44.99 (-50%) on Microsoft Store 58-76% discounts on TSW1 - https://uk.gamesplanet.com/games/offers/dovetail
Steam autumn sale. Tue 21 - Tue 28 November, 18:00 GMT Some great bundle offers to entice new players at ~£5 per route. London Commuter (London - Brighton) for £10 (TSW2, TSW4) - imo a classic, scenic, route with fast, easy to drive trains making it the best route for players wishing to experience UK railways for the first time. I didn't buy TSW3 until the recent Humble Bundle offering, so I haven't paid as much attention to the DLCs. Are there any must-buys that should be picked up during the sale?
Train Sim World® 4: Special Edition (8 routes, 2 additional locos) Historical low: £44.99 | Last: £44.99 | Best: £44.99 £40.50 (-55%) on GreenManGaming
TSW2 £7.49 -50% (purchasing previous variants of the game unlocks DLC for all subsequent versions at less cost) Until Wednesday 20th https://store.steampowered.com/app/1282590/Train_Sim_World_2/ Just be aware that the two week Steam Winter Sale 2023 starts on Thursday 21 December 2023 at 18:00 GMT and larger discounts, across a wider range of products, may be available
Just sneaked another £20 wallet gift voucher past the wife… Not sure how much getting spent on TSW at this stage though.
Man I wish I could have got TSW2 for 10 bucks in Aug 2020! ______________________________________________________ "The game engine is upgraded every one to two years." umm.....
Well today is the day the big Xmas Steam sale starts, think it’s at 1800 UTC/GMT (correct me if wrong and it’s 1700). Though my interests lie outside TSW and TSC this year, I wish everyone best of luck finding a nice bargain on something you want.
In the upcoming Xmas Steam sale I am not going to buy anything for TSW. At the moment there are much better and perspictive railway sims to invest money.
For me there's much higher change I'll get something for TSC than TSW, and likely in the last days of the sale, after I will have gotten other things I'm interested in, unless the price of Niddertalbahn gets discounted to at most what I paid for SimRail a month ago (that means it would need to be -50% off in my regional pricing, so probably not a chance yet this year). TSW4 will need to wait at least until a sale following WSR update.

I´m going to pick up Cathcart Circle and West Somerset (upcoming update)! Also looking at Island Line 2022 and West Cornwall Local...at 60% discount I may be willing to complete some of my collection. X-Mas sale always seems to have the biggest discounts. I don´t think it will get better than this, if you have interest in picking up TSW 4.
Actually it doesn't. In the past there were higher discounts for example during March Madness than in seasonal sales. Anyway, for DTG's Train Simulators, the highest chance of getting on the winter sale this year have NZTS products, so not for TSW but for TSC.
Noticed that myself. Would hope that has something to do with upcoming unknown US content, but who knows.
Humble Bundle was the cheapest way to to pick up content, can't see me buying anything this sale. I wish to stay awake whilst enjoying my spare time.....
Anyone want to start their collection, Cathcart Circle is a bargain! It's great fun. Frequent stopping.
Tempted to stock up on the layers in preparation for the WSR update next year. I notice the Rivet Routes seem to be offering a higher discount compared to November's sale
Having ditched my "brief encounter" with the JR video clip sim, revisited TSW and for some reason the Luzern to Sursee route came in at £4.15. A snip at that price even though it's known to have a few issues.
For all the steam physics flaws it is a very enjoyable route with some good stuff in Journey mode. It will get even better when the Class 104 DMU arrives next year.
