Introduction This is a realistic WCML suggestion that has a higher chance of being made compared to some posts that suggest things like Euston - Birmingham or every single train that operates on the line (350,221,390,92 etc) The Route London Euston to Milton Keynes Central 44 miles (71km) Stations Number of stations: 14 Milton Keynes Central Bletchley Leighton Buzzard Cheddington Tring Berkhamsted Hemel Hempstead Apsley Kings Langley Watford Junction Bushey Harrow and Wealdstone Wembley Central London Euston Trains Class 350 AI Trains Class 710: For owners of Goblin Line Would be seen at Watford Junction, Bushey, Harrow and Wealdstone, Wembley Central and London Euston Class 377: For owners of London Commuter or East Coastway. Would be seen at Hemel Hempstead, Apsley, Kings Langley, Watford Junction, Bushey, Harrow and Wealdstone and Wembley Central. 1972 Bakerloo Line trains: For owners of the Bakerloo Line Would be seen between Harrow and Wealdstone and Stonebridge Park Service Pattern 2 trains per hour from Euston to Tring 1 train per hour from Euston to Milton Keynes Central 2 trains per hour from Euston to Birmingham New Street (Service would end at MKC on the game) 1 train per hour from Euston to Crewe (Service would end at MKC on the game)
Good suggestion, but personally I think it'd also be nice to have a train with a full windscreen. Understandably not everything can come, so maybe the voyager or the 390. Personally, I'd prefer the former.
do I think they should? yes. Do I think they would? no. If they did, I see the 390 coming as DLC the same way as the class 700 came as DLC
To be honest I don't know how much the community would enjoy max 25 mins in a 390/221. I do get your point though
lol it's not possible a reskin the 807/805 are different not the same train that a 801 different LED PIS,CIV and not the same interior it's a different train you can only make (based) your 3d on a 801
good suggestion but with the recent release of the ecml with tsw4, I really cant see the western part of it coming anytime soon.
If Your looking for a number 1 to put to that list of enjoying it, look no further, Add me to that list of number 1 cos I definitely will enjoy it
I Know but I'm saying that they just built the east coast, I'm sure it would be a while for the west to come
I like this suggestion but as said, you don't have a wcml without a 390 rlly. It's just not the same.
Really wonderful suggestion! I like this The idea of using different means of transport one map is something we do not have yet, Always been curious to want to know what lies behind Queen's Park . Add the "Watford DC line" Watford Junction to London Euston To makes it even more spectacular. 95 percent of the line is already next to the West Coast Main Line So it will only expand even more. With all that effort they can even extend it to the Bakerloo line in an area to remaster the route every outside part of the line will be remade if your suggestion comes up.
More likely it'll be a similar case as it was with Ecml, we'll get a longer section with only a small number of stations like Preston - Carlisle for example.
This is way too short... London to Rugby via Northampton and the fast lines. That way we can stretch out the 390s and 350s. Can we stop asking for the bare minimum. They will give us the bare minimum and the same people that asked will be complaining. Also you would be pushing your luck if you think DTG would give us the 390 and 350 aswell as a 377/2 or /7
Asking for the bare minimum because I highly doubt they would make a long route that comes with 2 new trains. Hence why it’s a realistic suggestion. Would I love London to Rugby with the 350 and 390? absolutely.
To Milton Keynes is too short, though, and most Avanti services skip it so its a stupid place to end the route.
A good suggestion. WCML should the next pick for a mainline in the UK. Although as others have said this is a bit short, you’re not gonna get much out the 390 on this route. I know Birmingham in much further away but it much more of a complete route.
Yes and no. It should have gone to York. At least it makes more sense than ending the WCML at Milton Keynes.
Stop asking for the bare minimum, London to Milton Keynes is absolutely NOT what anyone wants for the WCML. The only logical place to end the WCML is at the least Coventry or Birmingham. If we can’t get the full thing I don’t want it or choose another section
Let's say this came to the game, this is something related to the Watford DC line. If you have the Bakerloo and then bought the upcoming GOBLIN, do you think it should be possible to drive from Harrow and Wealdstone to Queens Park at the very least? Anyways good suggestion I must say
Some great ideas here, but to do the wcml justice it needs quite alot of rolling stock which dosnt exist at the moment, and also its a very busy route in real life,so would require a really good timetable from the outset, not to say it couldnt be done, live in hope i guess
Of course it does. Not having the 390 on the WCML would be the same as not having the Azuma on the ECML: ridiculous.
it's reasonable but I would definetely like to see the 390 included as well as the route being extended to rugby or coventry
This suggestion has a chance of actually being real, let’s see how far DTG have gone with this route…
Great suggestion, hopefully already in the works. However, the Class 377 needs a new dual voltage subclass as I believe that these are the correct units for these services.
It is a good suggestion however i dont think they would add automated trains for diffrent add ons. it is a good line witch has a potential of being in TSW
So, we know who's fault it is then (joking, obviously. I'd have actually thought for a flagship route like this they'd include both).
