Just a short route suggestion for pc editor creators. Coming off of the GWML (current GWE) at West Drayton, the line diverges both North and South to Uxbridge Vine Street and Staines West respectively. Set in 1960 or 61, the line would feature Class 117 dmus in original green livery. Today, very little still exists of these routes with everything North to Uxbridge Vine Street now gone completely and to the South, only the stretch to Thorney Mill and Colnbrook still exists as a freight only line for stone and fuel respectively. Everything South of the Old Bath Road at Colnbrook is completely gone. This route is only a few miles from end to end with West Drayton in the middle (sort of) and would be a good project to get to grips with the tools, especially as the service pattern is fairly light. Uxbridge Vine Street branch. Staines West branch. BR Class 117 diesel mechanical multiple unit in BR Green livery passing Hayes and Harlington. I hope this suggestion is interesting enough to look into.
This looks interesting tbh, considering SOME of the branch is now used by freight (Colnbrook for Heathrow) it makes some good history
Thanks for reading this suggestion. I am surprised that it has not garnered more attention due to its history.
For the PC Editor part, I would give you the same response to that as I did here: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/question-route-%E2%80%9Es%C3%BCdbahn%E2%80%9C-ulm-friedrichshafen.78103/#post-785440 Would also be nice if a few more british projects would join us in the creation team. For now, the vast majority of route creations is only germany or austrian-based.
