    Hello everyone,

I have some questions about the LZB in Kassel-Würzburg.

Since winter I have also been driving this route in winter time. I noticed that although I can turn on LZB, it remains in standby (B). Probably due to the weather. Do I understand this in the right manner?

On the last trip, the signal (G) beeped and I got a Zwangsbremsung - even though the green light was on the open road. I have never had to acknowledge (G) and what exactly does that mean in this regard?

But if I drive in monitoring mode (Ü) and it ends, how exactly do I have to acknowledge it? PZB free or PZB alert?

Maybe I'm just confusing something here?
Thank you for your help! :)

When do you see the "G" red light, you need to start to braking for the "upcoming" speed restriction. And when you are going to exit from the lzb area, when you see the yellow light "ende" start flashing, just hold down "pzb release" for 1s to be sure. After that, just reach the speed displayed and continue to travel until normal pzb area start to monitoring your train. Make some try without AFB until you learned it well

Indeed, delucadominico is correct. When the (G) appears, it is an indication to slow down to the displayed target speed. AFB can help with this, but in the real world, the driver is advised not to use AFB to slow down.

PZB release in the above response means PZB free if you were wondering.

If you turn on LZB after activating the controls, It will remain in standby mode until you pass a sign that says "LZB". This sign indicates a point where LZB will go into monitoring mode if it isn't already.

Only drive with LZB here, not with PZB. So could it be related to that? But I'm going with AFB. I'm still learning all of this.

The last part, near würzburg is under pzb, immediatly after the tunnel. So you must do the "lzb exit sequence" before the station

That is fine, everything that has been said above (including pressing PZB Free when the "ende" sign comes up) is relevant to LZB and not PZB.
