Legacy Routes That Need The Tod4 Treatment?

    What routes would you like to see enhanced with TOD4?

    For me, it would have to be London Commuter (BML).
    Although this route imo already has good lighting, especially when doing night drives, I still would love to see a complete overhaul with TOD4, also some enhancements on the scenery.
    Out of the rush hour pack, this was the only route that never received any upgrades. Since DTG won’t return to legacy routes without it being beneficial to them financially, Acela - Boston, Vectron - Dresden. Why not add some fresh content for London Commuter, it’s a popular route in the community so it would sell very well. We have the Class 700 too, which is complete blasphemy not being apart of the timetable.

    Cologne-Aachen, Hamburg-Lübeck, Munich-Augsburg

    all good german routes with popular stations (I believe), that would look better with TOD4. TOD4 trains would look normal then with headlight lighting (Vectron on TOD3 routes for example has too dim headlight lamp textures and the lightcone looks like it's nuclear powered), and the ICEs would not have lighting issues anymore then. just some issues I'd love to be eliminated

    Yeah there is a lot of German routes that would look great with TOD4. Look at Dresden, that’s one of the best looking routes on the game now.
    Munich-Augsburg I second that! That’s one of my go to routes for running the ICE3. In fact that’s my favourite route to drive the ICE3. :)

    Definitely BML, only pre-tsw3 route that I play regularly

    GWE maybe would be in need the most and would be a strong update for such an old route (might sort the class 43 wiper out aswell with the same update window), BML is also another good call, popular route and only one of the rush hour not to be upgraded.

    i think that the GWML need a rework with new rolling stock and a timetable in 2019 with new scenary

    class 345
    800/0-/3
    802/0-/1

    and 387/1

    and a expansion to didcot parkway

    the possible rolling stock

    the route is set pre electrification (during its works to implement that but it’s out of action) so the 800 services won’t ever be put on it.

    For me there are 3 routes in UK

    BML,GWML and NTP

    3 in germany

    RSN,RT and HMA

    and 3 in USA

    NJT new york- treton , PCorridors and LIRR


    i will see get a upgrade

    but DTG can make a. ew route based in 2019 so after the electrification it was to after Didcot parkway and it will be really Nice for GWML but i will see this expansion for a TSW pack

    as a new route it could , but whether DTG would want to do the exact same/similar area again instead of somewhere new is another question.

    Just in general they should especially update all the commuter route especially, the US Commuter routes cause it’s already a disgrace that the team didn’t show any love to the US Community. The sky view was horrible and doesn’t feel at all NYC Vibes.

    Brighton Main Line with TOD4 and Thameslink services is a no-brainer. Would easily become one of my favourite if updated. Perhaps slightly controversial, but I would also like to see Island Line 2022 with the newer lighting and improvements to the Class 484 acceleration physics and maybe the new suspension system as a bonus.

    Peninsula Corridor
    Horseshoe Curve

    I think that all of this route need a uptgrade but it come first for UK or German route there are route needs really uptgrade and not minor but major rework

    -Köln-Aachen along the new timetable
    -Main Spessart Bahn and an updated Aschaffenbürg station
    -Sand Patch Grade
    -Peninsula Corridor and a treatement like WSR
    -LGV with better scenery
    -IOW 2022 because it's a nice route that I think deserve it
    -And maybe BML but I'm not a fan of it

    I think that is it !

    BML - needs remaking from scratch seeing as it is apparently too fragile. Also add in the much requested Class 700 to the route.

    East Coastway - fix the Class 313 DSD and extend the route to Ore for a complete run.

    GWE - extend the route to a decent length and fix the GWE HST wiper issue.

    NTP and TVL - bring them up to the same standard as BPO.
