The Green Class 47 simugraph is broken. Just try running it on the only ECML service it can be used on as standard. Just one example of the problem is that on a 0.5% downward gradient, the loco loses speed (quite quickly) unless you have the throttle engaged (sometimes in a high notch). The loco should not be losing speed so fast on a downward gradient - if locos lost speed like this, there’d never be a runaway train as they’d just slow down on their own accord despite going downhill.
The Western on DLotGW is the same on the over bridge into OOC. it gains speed going UP the incline to the bridge when coasting and loses speed going DOWN the incline into the yard when coasting!
It was tongue in cheek. Electric Brae refers to a stretch of road in Scotland which gives the illusion of going uphill when running downhill and vice versa!
