I only have blackpool so I'll pick that. It has more to it than glossop and it's a new experience driving a pacer while the northern 323 is just another 323. I like the idea of glossop of it being short and quick. Blackpool is much more fun
Glossop is one of the most boring routes they've put into TSW (and I love the 323 on BCC). The services are short, and all the same. The scenery is relatively dull, and Manchester station is dead and empty. Blackpool branches by comparison is like night and day. Much more care and detail with the scenery, much more variety in service patterns, and much more variety in locos, as well as being better value for money. You honestly can't compare them, they are in completely different leagues.
Easily Blackpool on that answer, I don’t own Glossop but 1 train on an empty shortish route ain’t going to beat the Blackpool route IMO.
BPO is better, but Glossop is a short and sweet little route. BPO just has more going for it in terms of content on a larger scale. For all the people who don’t own Glossop, I’d highly recommend picking it up in the sale. You won’t be disappointed.
Thats obvious. Glossop just added a reskin of a train and a not even 15 mile route. Whereas BPO adds a new train, multiple liverys to the 47s and 08s, the 8f and above all a longer route by quite the extent.
Comparing one of the best TSW routes to be released since TSW3 launch, with one of the most bland. It's not really surprising people prefer BPO. Like, I'd take pretty much any route released since TSW3 over it, other than Maintalbahn.
Cos i have glossop and im enjoyin it but i dont have blackpool yet jus judging based on what ive seen overall

no need to apologise its pretty easy to do i just saw your question on another post. Basically if you look at anymessage you will see a #XX (xx being message number) then a +Quote button if you press that (you can press more than one) then in the reply box if you press "insert quotes" it will drop the message you select to quote and you can reply to each one individually in the one post.
I enjoy Glossop for 2 reasons: 1. I like the 323. 2. It’s based in Manchester which is where I’m from. That being said. Blackpool Branches is objectively better in almost every way.
Not even a serious comparison, so many errors with the Glossop route, those that are familiar with the location know. Basic elements especially concerning the stations are not prototypical. The attention to detail is not in the same league as the Blackpool route
Blackpool route is awesome, but Glossop route is the only for now to offer the possibility to play on guard mode
Blackpool its so fun, the pacers are amazing (i say pacers because we get 2 engine sounds) Blackpool gave us a new train with variants, Glossop has a reskinned train on a tiny route. DTG cant even provide us with seating variants let alone sound. So much more effort was put into BPO the price was 100% justified. Big up JT. GLOSSOP IS BORING AND BROKEN
i honestly cant understand how you can model one of britains busiest stations in TSW and have nothing bar 323s it just feels a total waste of a perfectly good model which it actually is really well done
