I accidentally deleted a tile of my map/ route when I just wanted to delete the texture.
Now I have a hole in my map and can not restore the tile from kml.

I would very much appreciate it, if any of you could help me!

In Route Building mode select the top option "Tile Placement". Then highlight your SRTM file in the content browser and click on "Use Selected Assets".
Place the red rectangle cursor into the hole in the landscape and click on "Create Landscape(s)".
The tile should be replaced and then you only need to reapply any lidar data to finish.

I would also make sure that Tool Settings > Tiles Around Current is set to x=0 and y=0 :)

Forgot to mention I also like to highlight the new tile then right click and select Stitch Tiles in this Tier to fix any discontinuities where the surrounding tiles join together.

I just did that, but unfortunately it still isn't showing up.
The red cursor is also very far away from me, but even when I managed to get it into the right spot by flying around, it still didn't create the landscape.
Do you have any more tips to resolve this issue?

I've only done this at the edge of my current landscape in order to extend it and never had to replace a missing tile in the middle. Maybe try this out to see if it works at the edges to extend your route.
I have certainly seen the cursor move way off into the distance after adding a couple of tiles and found that closing down and restarting the editor helped with that.
Other than starting afresh and experimenting with the height of the viewpoint above the hole in the landscape, along with the cursor position, I don't really have any other suggestions.

Ok, yeah, extending the map worked.
I have an idea of what's the problem. The thing is, that the tile I want to create is still there, because of the track and so on, but just isn't visible.
The missing tile is ''LT_x7_y-11'', so now I need an idea on how to delete it, by not deleting the stuff on it.
Because when I delete it, I should be able to recreate it, but without the progress on it.

So maybe someone has an idea for that.

Yes just discovered that deleted tiles still have a .umap file in the Tiles folder.
After deleting this file, with the editor shut down and in Explorer (very cautiously) I found it was possible to create a new one in that location.

But the tracks and so on will be deleted too in this tile, right? Or will they still be there?

*Edit: Just recreated it, thank you very much for your help!

Hi guys, thanks for the explanations. But I am wondering, how do I generate the new tile?
    Thanks!
