Can anyone help with this please. Just got a monitor for Christmas that has hdmi 2.1 so it can run at 120hz for the xbox series x. Does any one know if Tsw4 runs at 120hz because I thought it did until I plugged a keyboard in to see that it is running at 60fps

It can barely run at 60fps, so 120 is a far stretch I think.

    TSW4 is capped at 60fps.

The VRR functionality of the Series X however is definitely worth enabling for TSW as it helps smooth out the frequent framerate dips. Very worth turning on if you have a 120Hz+ display which supports it.

As an aside, if you have MSFS as well - enabling VRR switches off that game's 30fps cap and puts it into unlocked mode. Which in many scenarios where it's not trying to render , say, all of New York city up close, can deliver framerates in the high 40s* and well into the 50s.

*(Your display's OSD FPS meter may say 90-120, you need to divide that by 2 to get the real FPS the game is displaying at under those circumstances).
