I'm thrilled to share my enthusiasm for the inclusion of the District Line from the London Underground in our favorite simulation game. The District Line, known for its scenic route along the River Thames and the charming stations it serves, offers a delightful experience for both virtual operators and passengers. Its distinctive green color and the rich historical backdrop of its stations could bring a unique flavor to our simulation. I highly recommend the addition of the District Line for a more diverse and immersive gaming experience. The District Line, one of the oldest lines on the London Underground, embarks on a journey that intertwines the modern pulse of the city with its storied past. Commencing in the east at Upminster, the line extends its tendrils through a mosaic of neighborhoods, from the bustling streets of Barking to the eclectic energy of East Ham. As it ventures westward, the District Line takes passengers on a scenic exploration along the serene banks of the River Thames, passing iconic landmarks such as Tower Bridge and the historic St. Katharine Docks. The line's intricate path encompasses diverse urban landscapes, from the corporate hustle of the City to the cultural hub of South Kensington, where the famed museums beckon exploration. Beyond, it embraces the verdant expanses of Richmond and the charming village atmosphere of Kew Gardens. The District Line, with its distinctive green color, serves as a chronological and geographical tapestry, seamlessly weaving together the past and present of London's dynamic narrative. This will be my last recommendation of the week to prevent people from getting tired of viewing my posts.
Interesting, not exactly the biggest fan of the tube but this is actually a pretty good route suggestion tbh. Definitely would like love to see this in TSW, hopefully done properly.
It is an amazing route and it is probably the most scenic London Underground route so those who love the scenery in Train sim world
The district line terminate at Upminster/ Barking/ Dagenham/Tower Hill/ Edgware Road/ Wimbledon/ Richmond/ Parsons Green/ Ealing Broadway and Ealing Common. They also occasionally terminate at Embankment and Hammersmith
I know that this route would be popular and if this thread gains popularity then I will attach a cab ride video and the train simulator experience of this route aswell
Thank you very much for your response. It seems as if that this would be less popular than other London Underground routes which is rather disappointing as it offers variation. It is a great mixture of Underground and overground
