So I suddenly started having this issue with the freeware UKTS route, Dublin - Cork - Limerick. It was running just fine and then today BAM it got all glitchy like this. The sky glitches in and out, those brown lines come and go and take different shapes. etc. This happens in all scenarios.

In your experience, what causes a glitch like this? An issue with the ToD file? Missing assets? Corruption in the route files? etc.

    Corrupted assets, every time.

And I'm assuming it could be anything. I did notice that when the scenario loaded I got a popup for a corrupted consist. Bet that's the culprit.

Welp, unfortunately the corrupted consist was not the issue. Must be something in the scenery

When I said corrupted asset that can be anything from a traffic cone to a lamp post to a pedestrians hat.. There are people here that are good at sleuthing these rotters out, however I am not one of them.

This looks as if you are using a DLC you are not owning on Steam, or that is disabled in the DLC manager but still on your harddisk. That's usually the effect when the DRM protection kicks in and is not decrypting the model's vertices because it can't validate your ownership via Steam. Each polygon will then have apparently "random" coordinates.

Not suggesting anything, but that's just the technical side of what I'm seeing.

I've also got the Dublin-Cork-Limerick-Tralee line, and it's working fine. Could this be TSC's longest route? Think so.

You must sort out which asset is responsible, and that route has a long list of dependencies. What happens when you create a new Freeroam scenario, so the world is devoid of rolling stock? This would help, to know if it's the route or the vehicle assets.

    Spawning in at Dublin...

The only payware the route uses is the US and the European Loco and Asset Pack. Make sure they are installed and active in your DLC manager.

Thanks for pointing me in the official DLC direction! That solved the issue. According to the route readme, it also uses Isle of Wight assets for vegetation. I deleted and re-downloaded IOW from Steam and that solved the issue. I've been downloading a lot of freeware routes for a route mapping and catalog project I'm working on (releasing to the community soon!), and one of them must have overwrote some assets from IOW with corrupted or as you suggested..."unofficial" versions that caused the issue. All sorted.
