Not run this route for a while, but today I noticed missing ground textures throughout. I backed up and re-downloaded from Steam and I've still got missing textures - Shrewsbury example attached Seems like the downloaded .ap file(s) maybe incomplete. A previous backup from Nov 2023 has the same problem. Anyone else seeing this issue? I'll get a full bug report off to DTG Support tomorrow.
Either check the asset and route folders manually for anything other than the .ap files, or do a Steam verification. (Redownloading will not remove files that alter the route). It's not a mistake on DTG's end, the .ap files are valid. I suspect you have additional files and folders in there. Welsh Marches (original branded version) Files: Assets\BMG\WelshMarches
Thanks for that, you were right! I'd got folders outside the WelshMarchesAssets.ap file which included another version of terrain.bin which may well have been the cause. Where those additional folders came from is, for now, a mystery.
I also has the same bug in the RSSLO 's Tirol Route. But I could't find any strange files in the asset pack. Hope you can help me
Reinstall the route. All RSSLO routes come with the required assets If that does not work contact RSSLO, or DTG If you got the route thru Steam
